<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Tom @ Jun 15 2009, 05:13 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Not quite the lesson. It was the race board that fooled Simon as it used a different numbering system to his team and their pit board. Also i don't think white flags are used for last lap over here.
Ok, then lesson learned, watch your pit board, trust them above all else.

Now that you mentioned it, I have never noticed a white flag signaling the last lap.

Frosty I think you were asking what happened to Bonsey a few months ago, he's back in circus, he is riding Aitor Rodrigue's 250cc Aprilia now that Aitor has been fired due to his poor results. 1 point is not a bad start.

About Passini's <strike>gay</strike> pink bike, he was promoting his hometown Rimins's pink night which is somekind of event done in Rimini in summer. Can't be arsed to find out what kind of things they do.

I unfortunatly was away and didn't see this GP but doh Simón I can't believe you've just won 1 race out of 6 so far!! That was stupid man!!

I'm glad Bautista is looking like the next and last 250cc champ. kudos to Aoyama though, he's doing a great job on the Honda. And I'm dissapointed at the crowd that wistled when Simoncelli crashed. It's not classy, he could've been hurt, and that is something I don't wish to any rider not even a cheating scumbag like Simoncelli.

yeah i was stoked to see him back. i know the bike ain't no bautista or simoncelli special rsa but 1 point after never having any 250 experience or riding at all (well he's been riding some flat track) till the sixth round isn't to bad!

i love these spanish/italian rivalries.... it makes for some brilliant racing!

According to Marca.com this might be Passini's last race! They say Aprilia has warned them that they will take away they bikes if they don't pay the rest of the money they owe them (50%).

I hope they can reach an agreement, would be sad to lose Mattia. Though painting the bike pink was reason enough to take the bikes away from them lol!

damn that sucks! i heard the annoucers talkin about that during the session but they would not elaborate. the toth team was just sitting there for the 1st 30min of the session & they made it sound like it was a pay dispute between the team & passini. hope it gets ironed out it would suck if we lose him.

Aoyama would be wiser to stay for the Moto2 class and try to compete for championships rather than move up to MotoGP with Team Scot to be a backmarker.

Wow, not webb's weekend - crashed on first lap of race too!!!

Reading out of the race too - apparently plagued by electrical problems all weekend

He will have to be on a satellite team in his rookie year anyhow and the choices
are few. Gotta get a foot in the door somewhere.

Did Bautista's throttle stick or did he just massively misjudge his speed?
