is it just me or does the 125cc not deserve the time to watch it?

Its definitely just you. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/.....gif

With Simoncelli, Bautista, and perhaps Aoyama gone next year..... Do you guys think Hector Barbera has a chance to shine or maybe win the championship next year? And even if he is able to win it, how much weight would it carry seeing how he never got the best of the current top 3 riders?

Julian Simon is future MotoGP star, he will be a threat for the championship when he jumps to 250cc.

I'm never sure what to think of Hector Barbera. He's impressed me a lot this year now he's calmed down a bit, but he's never struck me as being really special. Personally I think Pasini's gonna be the man to beat next year.

Simon has to be a title contender in Moto2 also. I've really rated him since seeing him win at Donington 05, and this year he's been awesome (if you forget about Catalunya

). I wasn't sure about it at first, but going back to 125's might be the best thing he's ever done.

It worked for Stoner

I'd completely forgot he went back down for a couple of years. Certainly didn't do him any harm.

I can't really think of anyone else taking a step back into 125's like that and making it work. Joan Olive's never really done anything, and we all know what happened to Manuel Poggiali - hard to believe he was a two time world champion.

Moving back to 250 didn't hurt Capirex either.

250cc Brno
Way to go Pasini! Great finish, showing he's got what it takes to run at the front, too bad Simoncelli had just a little bit more on the last lap. The overall points battle is looking pretty good, Bautista is within 12 points of Aoyama. Simoncelli a bit more down by 32 points. 6 more races to go and 150 points up for grab, it could get really interesting.

Don't forget Moto2 is poised to have some new names and stars as the current crop graduates and the new format brings in new/revised teams and riders.

?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

....! What happened to my boy Wilairot? Mechanical snafu with 2.5 left?

what a couple of crackin races!!!! espagaro had the ride of the race only to be bombed by the ever so despareate inonae... you just knew it was gonna end in tears! simon has all but rapped up the championship with a very smart ride.
wow!!! what a 250 race! there was more choppin & changin goin on the cameras couldn't cover it all! breathtaking stuff!!! simoncelli has dug himself a hole i don't think he'll be able to overcome but in all fairness to him it seems it was the bikes that caused the problem for him & his teammate locatelli. the race betwwen ayoma & bautista was brilliant as was the race between barbera & passini. two simaltaneous head to head battles of epic proportions!

Right on, Froster!! You just knew Iannoni was coming on the last corner but... ....! They both deserved to be on the podium but Espargaro really had a run and deserved the first...

250s - what can i say that you haven't? Epic battles, great riding!!

P.S. Wilairot not havin' any luck after a second in morning warm-up!

Amazing 125cc race. Crash in the last corner of the last lap, Ianone crashed into Espargaró and then headbutted him LOL. He got away with $5000 fine.
Simón is almost mathematically champion now.

Couldn't see the 250cc, nice to see Barberá winning turning that FP pace into wins. Title still wide open, between Aoyama and Bautista.

I watched 125 again last night and I still can't get over it. so heartbreaking
<
what a race, what an ending!!

excellent 250 race too.

i think ktm are just in over their heads. the rest of the manufactuers are fine. ktm has had very little to be keen on since they started racing gp a few years ago. they need to get that superbike of theirs competitive which they have not been able to do. hell i remember when the rc8 came out & ktm were gonna be in wsbk... what was it by 08... kickin ... & takin names.... yeah right.

When's the last time Aoyama has won? I think he needs another to stave off Simoncelli, otherwise it's afroturk's.
