Very entertaining race. Simon simply doesn't make mistakes (with the exception of not noticing the checkered flag) - which means, much like Vale, he's able to force his rivals into making them. Looking forward to seeing him slide a Moto 2 bike next season. Bradders is looking forward to seeing him leave the class as well.

Would've liked to have seen pictures form Reading and Rabat's garage.

Sad to see KTM leave the class so ingloriously.

Interesting 125cc race, I think Smith should have let Simón through and follow him for a change, he exposed all his cards and probably Simón was just waiting for the last lap. Anyway good fight, Simón has done an excellent season and is a worthy champion, lets see what he can do in Moto2.
Bradley is now the fav for 2010, he's got the talent, the bike, the team and now the experience to fight for the title.
Talking about talent where did this Schrotter kid come from??? 5th place with a Honda (I thought all 125cc Hondas where in museums!) with a Wild card entry!! Impressive!!

Awesome 250cc race, first few laps were thrilling, Hiro just needed a 11th pos and he was fighting like mad with all the leaders, when he went off track and rejoined 11th and Simoncelli leading it was sooo tense!!! Anyway great victory for Barberá (last ever 250cc winner) and great championship for Aoyama (last ever 250cc champion).

It was like Dani and Nicky all over again.

Bradley was awesome in the last few laps - just a shame his teammate was once again that little bit better.

Like they said on Eurosport, Smith's best chance was probably to try and stay in front cos it's so hard to pass Simon on the brakes. He just looked like he was pushing a bit to hard to break from him when he ran wide.

As for Schrotter, isn't he another one to come through the ADAC minibike cup? Seems a great little championship as I think it's also produced Cortese, Folger and Bradl, and this Schrotter kid looks amazing too.

Congrats to Hiro too.

Can't wait to see him and the other 250 guys in MotoGP next year.

EDIT: Well done to William Dunlop too - only 18th place, but at least he finished and also beat a full time 250 rider.

SOOOOOOOO....................................

Since moto2 has its own topic, i guess this place is reduced to talk of the 125cc goings on. Has anyone been keeping an eye on things over the winter so far?

Looking at the guys i'm guessing will be big hitters, the top 4 contenders seem to be Smith (The favorite, and really needing to win it now), Terrol now that he's in the Aspar team, Pol Espargaro (i think the biggest threat to Smith) and Marquez now that he's joined Ajo motorsport and got himself an RSA to ride!!

Also i was thrilled to see Danny Webb getting the job at JAck and Jones, hopefully another Britt Capable of top results

outstanding 125 race! brilliant & crafty ride by terol! vazquez a surprise 2nd & his 1st podium by just piping marquez! great start to the season!!!

Indeed. The 125 races seldom fail to deliver.

Moto2 Mob Scene in 16..15..14... minutes!
This ought to be freaking insane.

Watch the replays here, 125 was very entertaining at the front, Rabat has certainly gained a new fan! Still not seen the Moto 2, which is the 1 race that I really wanted to see.
