Last few rounds Yamaha have looked second rate.

It almost seems that since they let Lorenzo go that they have lost the plot.

What is in the minds of the folk at Yamaha that they have put all of their eggs in the rossi basket case.

Its like they have hired some wack religion to guide their future motogp program.

What are you talking about? Yamaha hasn't done anything. It was cold & wet for FP1 & FP2 and the Yamahas were struggling to get heat in the soft wet tires. You came up with a doomsday scenario because of practice sessions with conditions that will not occur again for the rest of the weekend? Lets wait for Qualifying and the Race.

Unheard of over the Lorenzo era for Yamaha to not be right up there near the front.

What about the idiotic move to go back to rossi as their prime rider?

They have lost it ... wacko!

Oh I see ...... its all "trolling" ...... oh right that explains it ......

no it doesnt ....... whats their story? ..... why the wacko situation? For a team that was "prime" ...... something has happened in the background with those that make the decisions .... what?

Update this thread after qualifying if you still feel Yamaha has lost their way.

Doesnt hide the fact that they lost there best rider for the last several years .... that will still be the same after qualifying ....

T he results we have been seeing are merely symptoms of what has happened .... not the cause.

So ....... WTF in all that was a top professional racing team ..... caused this situation?

How does Rossi winning at Catalunya, to Lorenzo struggling at Assen with Rossi admitting to making a mistake (he said the bike and his confidence were fine), to Yamaha struggling to get heat in wet tires during abnormally cold practice sessions = Yamaha has ...... up the M1 and the team? I know we love drama on this site, but we're really reaching now.

Kind of makes you wonder about that whole Rossi develops bikes thing....

Well thats just a myth thats been comfirmed again and again.

But I think its more like to make such an idiotic decision .... or blunder, the yellow army had input ( no control ) into( /of ) the goings on at Yamaha ......

Its as though the Yamaha heads in Japan have lost control of the venture.

Don't worry, Maverick will save the day....or get thrown under the bus.

Lose Lorenzo to Ducati, but gain Vinales.. a younger rider showing a lot of potential. In the meantime Rossi has been strong for the past 2 seasons. I don't think Yamaha is worried about a damn thing right about now. Honda still has to prove they've sorted out the RCV in the dry and Ducati still hasn't won a race.

Oh which Honda team do you mean?

Im referencing Repsol Honda who are almost one whole race in front ..... at this stage of the championship ....... and thats to Lorenzo

Lorenzo was further behind in points last year before he turned things around. Keep thinking the Repsol boy has it all wrapped up at the halfway point of the season.

So you do see that Lorenzo is pretty good?

Then WTF was going on in the minds at Yamaha that made them lose him!!!?

Lorenzo had a choice. Red pill or blue pill. He chose red. We don't know how well Jorge will do on the Ducati, but I don't think Yamaha will have problems staying competitive with Rossi and Vinales.
