The chain of events are pretty obvious to anyone with a brain now. They can't even spread the whole Yamaha listened to Mav too much theory because Rossi got the chassis that he demanded before it had to be replaced again quickly as both of their results took a dive.
I said in the other thread that it's not a coincidence that Yamaha have lost Lorenzo and now have the worst bike of the big 3, Ducati gained him and over the year have turned their bike into the best of the 3.

lets be clear about rossi and his record since 2011. now yes ducati is in there with no wins over 2 years however the man has avg. 1 race win a year since the start of the 2011 season where the eventual champion has avg 5 race wins a year.
to take it further the most rossi has ever won in a year since 2011 season is 4 top step results.
yamaha let a man who has won almost 50 % of the world titles go to another team and now they arent performing. to be fair to maverick he was riding unbelievable in the begining but then came tire changes chassis changes etc. makes you think he was sabotaged like spies for the benefit of the valeban.

ok lose rossi and keep the number 1 rider on yamaha for the past 7 years JLO and gain maverick a much younger rider than rossi. you have a win win.
you dont think yamaha is worried hmmm marquez can crash out of the next 3 races and still beat rossi even if rossi finished first al 3 races which we all know is never ever going to happen.
as far as honda has to prove they have sorted out the rcv have you watched moto gp recently. the rcv won the title last year and probably again this year. i think its been sorted out.

i love this thread as its a year old and the OP turened out to be 100% right. now yes what i commented to was a year old but the results are the same and the valeban feelings have never changed so its still relevant.
i know next year is rossis year. if he didnt break a leg and if maverick didnt steal all those early points. maybe marquez could have crashed more or dorna will change more rules etc...

I think they've done some kind of major change but I wouldn't call the bike sorted.
Still a long way to go before it's as dominant as it was in 2014.

Sure they can spread the lie that the M1 is Vinales fault. The people they need to convince are mentally ........ and will parrot what they hear. It doesn't matter to them that Vinales had never ridden the bike , had zero input in its development, and was developed on input from one rider, Rossi. It doesn't matter that Vinales was over a second faster than Rossi the first time he rode it and continued to be fastest rider through out testing. Then he backed that performance with 2 wins in 2 races and 3 out of 5. Rossi jumped on the bad performance at Jerez to convince Yamaha that the chassis was bad, this after also convincing Michelin that there front tire was .....It doesn't matter that Vinales was in control of the championship after 5 races and has plummeted in the standings since the changes Rossi demanded. Had they stayed on their developmental path, they just might be getting ready to celebrate a word title but unfortunately, it was the wrong rider who was going to hoist the trophy. The only justice is Rossi has probably suffered even more than Vinales.He was never expected to beat Marquez, but the humiliation of getting trounced by his first year teammate and him raising the trophy was something he could never let happen. Remember the timeline, one week before the first race, Rossi was the ONLY rider complaining about the front. In 2 weeks, they re introducing a tire that had been voted out 23-1, that one being Rossi. The chassis that was replaced was never really given a chance in the wet , and the one that Rossi had it replaced with is terrible in the wet. Yep , Vinales really ...... up the 2017 M1

So if Ducati has the best of the 3 why are they in 2nd place?
Another thing I've never understood about Lorenzo, why is it when a couple of riders pass him he goes backward very often finishing 8-10th.
I think the reason the "official" yamahahaha team is so bad is because Rossi is old and past it and Vinales is in his 1st season. I imagine they will take note of what Vinales has to say come the end of the year and if not then they deserve to fade away.

If they were going to take note of what Vinales says they would've kept the first chassis. Ya know the one that he was able to dominate on.
