A top ride by Haga. It was exactly what he needed to do and frankly, what I expected should he find the front early. A very composed ride and more rides like that are going to lead him to a title. Hats off to him.

Spies proved he was human. The good news for him from the weekend is that Valencia is a Haga track and a Ducati track. For him to take a second there is a good sign. The crash was obviously a mistake but it's forgivable. Like someone mentioned, there had been quite a few lowsides on Sunday. From what I could gather, it looked to be a little on the cool side, somewhat breezy and it continually looked like a threat of rain could come. You get off that line just the slightest and outbrake yourself and that's the end result. If he wants to have a shot at the championship he needs to minimize mistakes and ride consistently, something he specializes in.

Great rides from Laconi, good to see him back near the front again. Haslam continues to impress. Hopkins finished about where I thought he would. He should improve with each round.

What a race in WSS. An absolutely superb ride from Crutchlow. He and Westy were continually running under the lap record and both managed to keep it upright and battle one another. It's a shame that one of them had to lose considering the maturity and times of their rides. I'd be interested to see what could have happened had Laverty not botched his Superpole as he was posting similar times to the leaders in the closing stages.

Roll on Assen!
