people asked me to post pics since I went to germany this weekend. had a fantastic time. weekend started off on the wrong foot when I had to break up with my boyfriend on friday. really didnt felt like going away for 2 days with my dad when all I wanted to do is cry and curl up in bed, but thank god I went with my dad
best remedy for a girl with a broken heart, hang out with papa
enough sentimentals. my dad and I went saturday morning to nurburgring, which is about 270 km from my home. I have to tell you that even when we go to assen, which is about 130 km, I need a stop on the way cause my ... is hurting. you can imagine how I feel with 270km, I was dreading going.. we had SO much luck on our way to the track
we were there within 2.5hours, we only had to drive 15km or so. my dad wants to overtake another biker so he gives some gass. and OFCOURSE, we're not even 2 minutes further, the police is pulling us over. so my dad freaks a bit since he has kinda loud exhaust-pipes on the bike. he pulls over, stops the engine and I get off the bike. I look around and see like 3 young policemen age 23-27 laughing and all, so Im on a mission, LETS HELP MY DAD, DISTRACT AS MANY. so I start talking with 2, the other guy is talking with my dad. turns out we were riding at 101km p/h where 70 is aloud... which could mean they could give us a ticket for more than 100,-. somehow, and I dont take full credit for this with my charming skills, but SOMEHOW, they let us go, saying we were unclear on the pic (which they showed us and we were in full focus
) my dad tells me to put on my gear in ease and get on the bike. we have this ritual where he starts up the bike before I get on, but I understood what he meant: he wanted to get the .... out without them looking at the exhaustpipes
so haleluja no fine
we're getting closer to the track and my dad and I are laughing and having fun. before I continue, do you remember me telling you about ....? yes thats his name, ..... for those who dont know ...., let me introduce him. he is a 53 year old guy with 1 son and a wife. he always tries to get stuff cheap. if he has to pay 2,- for it, he will try to get it for free or he will end up not buying it (ie, not getting it for free). and dont think .... is a poor dude, no, he works with the gov, drives a Yamaha Fazer from 2005, lives in a vila. But he still is as cheap as it can get. Tell you another thing, I don’t like ..... He irritates the crap out of me when he tells me how much he payed, if he payed at all for his cheap looking rip off cap from max biaggi (yes, he is a fan of MB, another reason not to like him)
so we were laughing and talking. We’re heading to the parkinglot and out all of the places, my dad sees a spot for the bike and he is heading towards that spot. What he is missing tho, is the fact that .... is standing 2 bikes away from that spot. NO NO NO NO NO!!! not ..... But no stopping my dad when he has an idea in his head. We pull over, .... sees us, and he sees the shock on my face. Inside Im hoping, praying, that he already has tickets and he can go with his son to 1 part of the track, doesn’t matter what part, and my dad and I will go the opposite way. So he start telling: ‘yeah I got tickets, very very cheap. 19,- for paddock passes!! No I didn’t order them over the net, I don’t trust internet, I used fax. Yeah Ive tickets for tomorrow too, the cheapest we could get. Where are you 2 going?’ so I look at my dad, and say ‘we don’t know yet, have a good time, bye’.
So haleluja, no ....
my dad and I start walking towards welcome centre, and he tells me there is a rollercoaster on the track. didn’t believed him, but he is right, look:

We go inside the centre and walk around, just looking and trying to figure out where to go.

yes thats a part of the rollercoaster on the right in the air. crazy huh
We finally see a ticket point, and we decide to get 2 weekend passes for bronce (yeah it’s the cheapest but we like to walk around and see the place). So we go inside, find a place and watch superpole. Afterwards we are debating where to go. My dad suggest going to another part of the track where our ticket allows us, so Im like, sure. We walk around, finding tribune 12a. we go further and further on the track, we check out, and check in again at the gates (first year with this system, works very well) we head over to the tunnel in the road, still following signs to tribune 12a. we check in, check out, check in again. And we just continue walking. Until I notice we are walking IN the paddock! Yes! With no one holding us back, asking for cards etc. we head up to the pit show, right on time to see the riders having their talk after superpole.

My dad and I walk around the place some more, and guess who we see there. No its not someone famous, its ...., looking shocked, asking us what we’re doing there, how we got in. he told us we ‘should be carefull cause someone might find out’ (oh please…) blah blah. And Im only laughing thinking how pissed he must be when he realises we didnt pay to get in, and he payed 19,-
We find the tribune, sit down, watch some other quali’s and a race.

Its getting close to 7pm now and we still need to check in in our hotel, so at the end we go to the bike, get on it and hit the road. My GOD what beautiful roads. Ive never been on any road better than this. Twists, bends, up and down, hairpins so Sharp you could see the licenceplate of the bike etc. so lovely. We get the town, never being there before, so my dad says, ‘well lets turn right here and see where we end up’. Not even 500m on that road, et voila!! There is our hotel
a triple haleluja
