Put World Championship on side, he is not capable for that. 2006 doesn't count, Hayden certainly is flukiest WC ever.

Now, will he ever win a race for Duc? Of course I mean win in a straigh fight with Rossi, Casey, Lorenzo, Dovi & Pedrosa... not on that what Capi is done at Motegi 2006.

If i see Edwards or Hopper ever winning i race... then its possible

What do you mean?He can't make a good start, fend of Melandri and then take off.
If he has to pass Rossi,Stoner,Dovi,Pedrosa during the race?.Very unlikely, but why not?

You have a valid question, will Hayden ever win a race in a straight fight outside of 2006? I have a similar question, will Rossi ever win a race on a Vespa in which Schwantz, Rainey, Doohan and Agostini participate? The other riders will be given 500s, the race must occur on the Monaco F1 circuit and will take place on a Tuesday. If he can't win that race, all of his other accomplishments are meaningless.

Will Stoner ever win a 450 MX title on an Aspar Aprilia 125? Until he does that I can't take any of his wins or accomplishments seriously.

Is this feeding? If it is, I'll take it down. I just thought it may be good for a laugh.

These threads are funny.

To answer the question, I don't really know, but let's just say that I'm not expecting him to win races next year although it's possible.

i think it ia a bit earliy to ask this kind of question
time will tell
i think he can win races for Ducati, but we will see

No idea, but one thing is for sure...
Nicky will be a .... load closer to the front than Marco was in 2008, and Duc will sell more bikes in the US having Nicky on board.

I think the Ducs will be very fast in 2009, so expect to see Casey winning races. WC to come down to Casey and Rossi again.
My greatest satisfaction would be to see Nicky (and Dovi) smoke Pedrosa.

.....!!!!!!

When a season is as long as Motogp, there is no fluke champion! Winning a race can be a fluke, winning a title like SX lites in america in a 7 race season can be a fluke. Nicky was really consistent, had a ton of podiums and not even ....... Dani knocking him off could stop Nicky. Besides, your big hero had a chance from pole to take the title from Nicky and didn't get it done. Nicky will win this year, no question. The new bike is the best in the garage on the tech side and at Indy and Laguna he has as good a chance as any. Nicky has the best work ethic of any rider, he will sort out the Ducati and he will win again.

Hayden didn't win 2006 title with his own effort, Yamaha donated that championship to him.

I suppose they set out from the start of the season to hand it to him at the end of the season as a surprise gift. If he took the time to get out of bed and get on the bike, then that was "with his own effort".
