I don't care if Rossi stays or goes. MotoGP will endure with or without him.
Times change and inevitably new talent emerges. Rossi is not part of the future of MotoGP. He'll certainly always be listed among the sport's greats but like all those who came before him, his time is limited and his impact is waining.
Two years after Rossi leaves the paddock, he'll be mentioned only sparingly and new fans will know almost nothing of his accomplishments. That's how sport works. New fans, new talent, old legends become exactly that....old.
