I wished hard for Nicky to do well and defend his cup in 07 but circumstances were against him.But Casey........!!!!!!The guy has got his head down and delivered......just like Doohan did on the strokers.I really can`t see any reason to knock the lad for his results AND I DON`T COME FROM ARSELICK ALLEY.

haha. Welcome. I think he overdosed on the Stoner pills this off season. Stoner has skills and has shown them, but look, he has the best bike. True the bike isn't everything, but look at Pedrosa and Hayden on the Honda. They have both struggled with the bike, whereas last year, they were both top 3 riders, and now, neither are. Casey has the advantage of the Ducati's speed and handling this year, so people start calling him, Greatest of All Time, and better then Rossi, because of one great season.

I actually think CSCVAW will give full credit if as is very possible rossi, melandri, pedrosa or hayden win next year. He has already said melandri will be a big threat and he will give all credit to him if he wins.

dont forget gui22a as well. real fanboy, as least the above mentioned has some gp knolage. but both dont do a lot for stoners image.they think the world is divided between stoner or rossi fans. non were here last year to defend him so i cant really take them to seriously.

yes michael…i am and I like all riders in motogp!...there all champions!....and I would be the first to commend any rider who would have beaten rossi, if it wouldent have been casey! even though I really like rossi and have followed his carrier ever since he started!

but michael, i wonder this…(as a side note: i wasent on this forum last year and only joined in june this year) but from what i’ve read on other forums about casey last year…you know crasher, gravel eater, hopeless etc etc…and i also think that a lot of people forget what they would have posted about casey last year! but offcourse i can’t speak for this forum but i can speak for crash.net, rideontwo which were full of all these derogatory, abusive comments about casey!!!....

i am perhaps over-enthusiastic but I surely don’t make excuses and all through last year i copped it on the chin and quietly posted what i thought of caseys talents were and what casey could and would do if he got an a factory bike….and btw the replies that I got were laughable…i should have copied and pasted them and kept them for the record!...

…but fortunately casey got on the ducati…and didn’t I cop it then too…that casey intentionally took gibbers out and hes not worthy of the ducati ride he will crash crash crash in 2007 etc etc…

…

but if some think that my posts are over the top then sure they are! and I don’t piss into any body’s pockets and im only telling it like it is and I perceive the events of motogp…

this forum is about discussion on motogp and i would have thought that the guy that is leading the championship and is doing it in such an overwhelming way is a major topic of discussion! even though casey is doing all the talking on the track!!!

just remember all…winners are grinners and the rest can please them selves!!!

I like Stoner over Pedrosa. I was pulling for him in the 250's. Pedrosa I think was a bit more hype. Stoner challenged on inferior machinery.

Rossi- Loved him naively, cheered against him in the Biaggi duels, Enjoyed it when he won though. Enjoyed his mind games with Gibernau. he destroyed this dude.

Hayden - I just really like the guy. Love his work ethic. Love his country-ness. Met his dad. The hayden's are good humble people.

Elias- I just love the fearless little Spaniard.

This is The Year for Ducati.
This is the Year for Stoner.
