Mr. Casey Stoner’s...riding, style and most of all his Mrs.she’s a real 'GLAM"!!!...You Lucky ....... Casey!!!...

But putting all that aside...Casey has really developed into a great rider, a championship winner, future champ that we never would have predicted in a million years that it would happen!!!...

But here we are in 2007af...after Christ... And its very much a reality...so what do all the Stoner fans think???...Please express you’re thoughts, minds, souls and whatever you think about our future or very soon to be crowned...”WORLD CHAMP”!!!

great riding skill and the potential to be a great WC

just wish he would smile and acknowledge viewers on the tele when the camera
comes his way and be a bit more gracious in defeat. ( when it happens )

he could take a leaf out of Vale Rossi book on how to treat the media

apart from that he is on the best machine in the world ever and good luck to him.


only downside is though - he is Australian and not British

Well first of all I'm a ROSSI fan. Having said that just nobody can deny that Casy is putting in the best rides on the best bike with the rightest of tyres. And unless pigs (spelt YAMAHA) learn to fly he will be NR 1 World champion for 2007 - so much better than last year. Just for good measure AND it's not all the Ducati - look at the rest of the Desmo drivers

I think Casey is a great rider and deserves the championship this year. I also think Raikonnen is the best driver in F1. I lump them together because they both went to the same charisma school.

Edit: I think we've been spoiled in motogp. It used to be Rossi vs Biaggi/Gibernau. Criville pissing off Doohan etc etc. This season reminds me of KRjr's championship season, there was something missing then and there's something missing now. It would be great if we had Hopkins or Edwards leading the championship purely for the quotes we would be getting from them. Casey is BORING but darn he's good.

Casey's riding continues to amaze me, but off the track i'm not a huge fan of him. I don't find him especially entertaining and he whines too much, but these are things that don't really matter. Casey looks GOOOOOOOOOOOOD on that bike.

I ama fan of every rider. I watch MotoGP, not because of Stoner(who remarkebly same over his problem with crashing after leaving Honda), or Rossi(who is a very odd man IMO), or Nick Hayden. I watch MotoGP, because, like F1, it is the best machines on the best circuits. The atomsphere of the races. The food at Mugello and Valencia. The Rossi tifosi who are annoying and on occasions rude. Nicky riding for a parade lap after winning at Laguna with the American flag. The true privateer team like Team KR, who rough it out every year, yet are still make it through the season. Watching Rossi get beat by people younger than him. Watching a motorsport, outside Nascar, where Americans have a shot of winning on a world scale.

Great young rider doing a great job at ducati with no expectation of him this year not sure that he can do the same next year. I liked interview with him last year at beginning of season and he was amazed to be were he was and this year seems to be trying to come across more confident! (with good reason though).
He really is the wizard of oz

CSCVAW doesn't even have Stoner in the fav rider box, yet claims to be the biggest Stoner fan ever. Worships the kid. Is it just me or does he look like a 15 year old?

I dont LOVE any sports figure.I love my parents,my wife,and my kids.Now there is some that i admire and Stoner is one.Im a Gp fan and have been for decades before Vale and Casey were born.Im not even a Stoner fan but he is the man this year and will be called champion for the rest of his life.Good on him,well deserved.

I think Stoner is handling himself off the track very well this year. You should have seen him many years ago- he could be sullen , petulent etc. But he was just a kid . Even now he is only 21 or so. People expect too much. He is learning and getting better as he matures. He has none of the Gibernau- "look at me" drama queen qualities. Not all people can be extroverts and entertaining like Rossi. His track comments seem overly critical, but he is the one being quoted all the time. All the riders thought the Misano track was extremely bumpy and a bit dangerous. Rossi couldn,t say so because it is his home community. I am finding more to like about Stoner each year. However I prefer Vermeulin- he comes across as intelligent and natural .

You do realise CSCVAW, now that youve posted this, Casey is going to crash and break his leg during practice at Estoril and Rossi will go on to win very race for the remainder of the year and Casey will NOT become your self proclaimed "WORLD CHAMP”!!!

There is a certain amount of truth in these comments. I won't go so far to say that Casey's boring but neither can he compare with Rossi in the personality stakes & I doubt that he ever will.

That's not being nasty, just honest. Aussies in the international spotlight are in general, cheerful folk but somewhat reserved & naturally there are further variations from person to person.

He is what he is when it comes to the media but maturity & experience will see his public persona evolve in due course...

But if he keeps winning like Mick Doohan did then I guess that a number people on this forum won't care, because they won't be watching MotoGP anymore...

Can't say I "Love" him!! but I do like his lifestyle and what he is doing and how well he is going ...

and I can't say it was a surprise to me that he is winning!! ... that one kinda stuns me ... I mean each year he has progressed ... and he got a ride with a factory team at last ..... so why do folk assume he was going to go worse???

I don't have any problem at all with his personality either, he's just a modest fellow ,and seems blunt and honest, no airy fairy stuff there!! so whats wrong with that?.
