Rossi does look supremely comfortable aboard the Yamaha M1, however. During one wet stint he was out posting consistent 1'47 laps, and looking very comfortable. Andrea Dovizioso, out for the first time on the Ducati, was nowhere near as fast, running in the 1'50s at the same time Rossi was lapping several seconds faster.

Noone is slamming Rosi, all i saw was some toung in cheek (you love that expresion around here, don't you?) Towards his casual position. Understandable when some people werre allready claiming a top 3 for Vale before .... even went down. Starting by Spanish TV crew.

Interestingly (or perhaps not) everyone I've spoken to about the Valencia tests was rather Ho-hum about Rossi and hanging out to see Marquez's times.
Like or hate the guy, he's the future and it's new, exciting, real talent that should be promoted for MotoGP to progress.

Almost. Marquez has already been over promoted. He will just end up being the new Rossi, MotoMM. What they need to progress is promote all the talent thats out there. The talent that could be competing for wins and championships if only they were ever deemed 'worthy' of shoe-horning onto one of the four factory bikes. I admitt this is my same tired old theme, but either give them all factory bikes or have no factory bikes at all. Cmon Ezpeleta, stop ....... around and take the MSMA head on. You ......

Haha. Thanx for posting. Actually its right. They just got the picture and date wrong. VR will be the 2013 champ. Or is it 2014? I havent read the script. Prob 2014. Yeah, this way he can retire. Of course we will need to wait 10 years before they declare him a legend. Right Mick?
Haha. Your prob right. But I think they're hyping Marquez too much right now. I think Pedrosa is gonna be tough to beat next year.
