Who is that in the photos with Uccio?

You mean the guy in the leathers?

He is just a guy Uccio hired to ride the bike he is developing since he is not "aerodynamic" enough to ride it himself. He has some gravity issues.

So he is like Uccio's puppet then?

Or is he Uccio's very own Asimo?

Wondering just what Uccio will pull out of the hat for Asimo tomorrow ..........

peeeeemaaaaaaan

Nah sorry, haven't drunk enough yet so no need to pee as yet, give it time though.

Mind you, I reckon with the results and perhaps some light egg on faces there may be a few #2's getting done about now

I'm really pissed off at the Yamaha team in Q1, its completely their fault Rossi didn't get into Q2.

Rossi came into the pits based on Uccio's pitboard, then at the very second he arrives into the pits the ....... stupid Yamaha team crowded around Rossi not giving Uccio the required access until it was too late. Uccio didn't have enough time to go over the critical information with Rossi to get him to the top of the time sheet in Q1.

GOOD ONE YAMAHA, REALLY SMART!!!

I hope he comes back on,i was going to ask him if he knows why all Italian tanks come with 1 forward and 5 reverse gears as standard?.

because you live in the noob half of the world and see everything contrariwise

Actually i'm from Coventry in England originally, and i used to work in a tank factory,we always had to fit the special reverse variant gearbox for any orders from Italy.

Can anyone tell me why Uccio hasn't been immortalised as a "Motogp Legend"? Surely Dorna must be considering opening the category to non-racers who have made such a significant impact on the sport?

I know what you mean, the sport is in debt to the great man but often fails to acknowledge his achievements enough giving far to much credit to the riders.

The guy was instrumental to the successful transition from 2T to 4T. His breif work with Honda in Vale's early days has laid all the groundwork they needed to become the strong powerhouse team that they are today. He took Yamaha from tears to glory with his rebuilding of the team.

Factory Yamaha are taking the opportunity at the final round of Valencia to test their all new 2017 Uccio V2.0 with Jorge Lorenzo. This newer more updated version of Uccio is more energy efficient requiring less fuel from the cafeteria and also has vastly improved memory which means no need for clipboards any more.

Given Jorges strong results in qualifying it seems to be working quite well and may give Yamaha the edge they need in 2017 to take on Honda.

Just out of curiosity, what is the history behind the love of Uccio on this board? haha

and no - I'm not getting defensive or even sticking up for him. I just dont really know the story behind him/his alleged idiocy and I'm curious

No particular story behind him that I'm aware of, he just comes across as a bit of a moocher and glorified water boy. Fun to take the piss out of kind of thing :p
