<{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>It's a good point, not who's gonna sponsor them but will they bother with sponsorship at all. Of course the cash will come in very handy, but it's likely that Yamaha are going for exclusivity this time. TV viewing figures are through the roof and the crash.net article made a few good points regarding the slightly poorer situation in F1. There's a chance for some branding here. The thought of beating Honda to the first 800 title on a bike with Yamaha plastered all over it, when you can bet the world will be watching the fallen legend regain his crown, is just too juicy to let some spanish phone company in on that kinda glory. Oh, the power of dreams.
And watch the orders for R6s and R1s come flooding in. Makes a lot of sense I guess. Which raises the question, did Camel leave, or did Yamaha tell them to get packing? I mean, Rossi didn't win the championship, but he's still the most popular rider on the grid by far, and a lot of people will be watching the potential comeback. If I were a Camel exec, I'd give them another go.
I knew it was too Ironic that Rossi's team was the one without sponsorship. They're probably beating sposors back with a stick, while guys like LC and Ponchiral would do anything for some sponsorship cash
