I cannot explain myself why you are so critical with rossi and with uccio...
I have wondered for many years about the curious role of uccio too, but what Rossi has done til now is legendary, and he Always had uccio with himself...so I think that uccio isn't completely useless and, of course, he is not a negative guy for rossi.
Moreover, what Uccio said in this interview is right. And rossi's behaviour towards MM during the firsts races of 2016 was the correct one: I think Rossi's performance started get bad when he decided to shake his hand with MM; that was a terrible mistake..

Jeremy Burgess was removed by Rossi before 2015 Championship (he left Ducati at the end of 2013) so I cannot explain how Ducati's stuff deal with that.

I know what you mean about Uccio. The new Playstation 2017 MotoGP game will not be based on Rossi like this years game but based completely around Uccio.

In career mode you will get to build your own Uccio character and select things like, how sunken his chin is, the size of his gut, how yellow his teeth are, the size of the mole on his face, how much body oddur he puts out and the main objective of the game is too see how much you can mooch from Rossi's success.

You will be awarded extra points for photobombing skills, interfering and getting in the way of the team mechanics, how many cigarettes you can smoke while malingering in the Yamaha pits and starting rumours about other riders.

I'd say he's more of a bunny boiler. The guy happily handles Rossi's snot covered tissues and his grotty earplugs and gum shield. The looks of adoration he gives Rossi are more than good friends, they're more like the gaze a besotted wife gives her husband. I know the guy is married with kids, but he's just disturbing.
Does he have some hold over Rossi? He certainly sounds jealous and possessive if Rossi strikes up a friendship, wonder how he's gonna treat Maverick? How does he get to manage the moto3 team when he's really just a gopher, even the blues brothers helmet design was done almost as if it was a statement with Rossi showing him how much he loves him and values his friendship,
Kind of "look Uccio it's you and me against the world".
My mate (an avid VR fan) reckons they're more than just friends, but Rossi won't come out until he's done racing. Who knows...who cares, he's a great racer!
 
its funny how addicted most of you are to political correct answers. if a guy says he cant forget a bad situation which is only human you think he is a cry baby. rossi thinks 2015 was a set up championship. i think that too. if you dont agree that is ok. but if you agree you will always remember cause you havent seen that kind of sportsmanship ever in any sport at this level. and like rossi everybody knows it was probably his last chance. another thing you dont like is uccio. who cares about uccio? he has a dream job and you probably jealous. he gave an interview once like most of the crew members. he said it like he feel it. he never gave a reason to provoke, he just havin fun. so that makes him rossi's wife? you cant handle the fact that rossi has a best friend from childhood. maybe if he waited with the earphones like lorenzo or with his father like mm for a race to start you would be satisfied. i mean stars dont hang out with their best friends right? only with bodyguards like ronaldo... go read the tabloids then!

What annoys me about the press and media is that they don't give Uccio any of the credit he deserves. They talk a lot about Ross's world titles as if Uccio had nothing to do with it when we all know that Uccio does about 90% of the work, Rossi simply rides the bike - the easy part. Six of the nine world titles Rossi has belong to Uccio but Yamaha and Rossi have been working together to try and make out that Uccio had nothing at all to do with it, disgusting behaviour

This season Dorna have placed huge restrictions on how much Yamaha can actually use Uccio because they wanted Honda and Marc to win the championship, Dorna cheated this year and it worked and it is unfair to all the Uccio fans. How is Uccio expected to do his job with one hand tied behind his back. I knew something was up when they got to Jerez this year and they placed bans on Uccio smoking in the Yamaha pits and the rest is history.
