Toseland to Yamaha in 2008 - It's Official according to a Dutch site

Just read this on another site;

Another piece of the 2008 MotoGP jigsaw has fallen into place, with the report that James Toseland will definitely be riding a Yamaha in MotoGP in 2008, according to Dutch racing site Racesport.nl. No details as yet, but this leads us to speculate that Toseland will be riding the Tech 3 Yamaha, presumably on Michelins and with very heavy factory support, or possibly as a team mate to Jorge Lorenzo.

Racesport.nl is reporting that there'll be more information this afternoon. Any reports we get will be updated as soon as possible.

Can anyone interpret for a dumb aussie that doesn't speak Dutch?

Binned it for Honda at the 8hour, and he becomes the instant darling of Yamaha and Suzuki!
I hope it is official and Tech 3 is given more support to make them more competative in 2008....

All this means really is we say goodbye to 'Buzz Lightyear'!
 
I hope this happens. I'd rather see him partner Edwards, a little less pressure in his first year, plus he should be able to compete with Edwards pretty well by season start.

The same dutch website is reporting something about the Kawasaki GP team and Monster Energy sponsorship.. Will that partnership be announced soon; considering that Hopper has confirmed his signing with team green..

It's got to be Lorenzo and Toseland at Tech 3 possibly on Bridgestones? It's possible that Edwards could partner Lorenzo but not likely unless they're on Michelins. Besides I don't think Rossi really wants a new team mate.

Looks like Tech 3 will get a lot of (if not full) factory support next year. Bye, bye Dunlop, Tamada and Guintoli. Yamaha are going to have an awesome attack next year especially if Tech 3 use Brigestones.

This is my dream team for 08...even though JT will get handed his arse most of the season, it's certainly an interesting pairing.

Hannspree Ten Kate coureur James Toseland will make the transition to the Motogp catergory. The british leader in the WSBK championship shall ride for Yamaha in 2008, next to the confirmt coureurs Valentino R and Jorge L.

How definitvive the actuall teams will be for the fabricteams/satelite teams hasn't been announced yet.

about the kawasaki and monster deal, they're only speculating that multiple sources say it only is a matter of days before kawa will announce their new sponsor.
 
Personally I've conceded the 2007 championship to Stoner and Ducati. They deserve it and it would be an injustice for them to lose it now. But the drivel that CSCVAW comes out with is ridiculous.

Yamaha have set up a good mix of riders (and tyres too I hope) for 2008 that even the CSCVAW will have to acknowledge come next season.
