Got a 4th after starting from the back of the grid! Yeehhaaa!! Oulton park international was the circuit, and a great start to the championship

i like this statement from the Togs thread the otherday "The amazing thing was the Superkarts were lapping 10 seconds a lap quicker than the Formula Fords"



If i remember Karts do Cadwell in 1:22's BSB Lap record is 1:26's but they do the new chicane the karts dont thats still a very good pace.

i got some pics from the other year.the karts were .... hot around Cadwell esp Chris Curve

Haven't heard when the program will air yet Pidge, but when I know, you will know. Next time i'm going to pester the commentator for some TV time! Chris Curve is awesome in a 250....absolutely flat

Looks like that was the island circuit Pidge. On the weekend using the international layout (with the shell oils hairpin) the 250's were doing around the 1:40-1:42's for the top guys. I expect thats the layout Kio's record stands on.
 
#22 When you at cadwell or Donnington?

Would like to make one and see ya in action,

And maybe shoot you some good pics in the process

Cadwell and Donignton are the last 2 rounds of the season on the 8th September and 3/4th November I believe, but will confrim later. If you do come let me know, as I should have a few spare entry and paddock passes.

Round 2 this weekend at Silverstone. A bit boring really as on the national circuit we are flat all the way around save for 2 braking points. I am expecting it to be wet this weekend, given the .... weather we've had here lately. Thankfully in that respect it might be my last season in the British Champs...
 
Thanks guys, I was running in 2nd until the last lap then the kart started overheating so I had to back off and dropped to 4th, ....!!!



Still, better than nowt

Major bummer with the overheating but at least your up there!

Must lift your soul after last seasons bad luck.
