Gerloff finally gets his first podium with BMW. Bulega gets full points on Sunday to shorten the gap to Toprak somewhat.
Alex Lowes with another great charge through the field, wonder if he could've challenged for the win.

Petrucci!!!

Love to see him on a podium!

He should have had the Ducati seat ahead of Bautista.

Shame that the bike malfunctioned a bit, Lowes would have given Bulega a good fight.

Talking about fights, the WSSP races today had some pretty hard races. The leading trio still making that series interesting.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to watch live this weekend, but Toprak didn't suffer too much, since Bulega did not score in Race 1, and Bautista did not start the Superpole Race or Race 2.

Nice to see Gerloff on the podium, but it's too little too late for him. Putcetti is where your career goes to end. Not sure it will improve in the short term, though BiMota are taking over.

Two weeks for Razgatlioglu to recover. He's lucky. That could have been much worse. Could have easily resulted in a broken neck if he hit at a slightly different angle. The situation makes me sad because I enjoy Magny Cours, but the bikes are outrunning the track. The only way to improve matters is to maybe stack airfences at that spot.

Anyway, hoping for BMW and Toprak to lift the title. If for no other reason than to break the curse of Melandri. BMW have been in this situation before, and they've snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Good luck!
