Many posts on this thread relate to Casey and his non affection to the mass of posters on this forum. It got me thinking about this site and what we may have been discussing (if it existed) in;

I could go back further, but these are the years I fondly look back on!
It would be hard (ie impossible) to argue that any of the above had an extrovert personality like Rossi does. Were they good … .... yeah … they were the cream of the crop! Let’s face it, they are all boring as bat ....!
If we were posting on this site in the years I mentioned above, what would we be talking about?! IMO (that’s for you Gaz) … we’d be talking about hard racing, not personalities. I read most of the .... on this site and it is all about personalities. Who the .... cares!

And, it's not only about personality these days. It's also about riders ethics and moral. That must also be right to be worthy of some supporters. If they don't do enough laps in practice or doesn't attend to the right charity events they are not worthy.

I am speculating about the Epstein Barr virus as was everyone else. It was (hopefully past tense) something pretty debilitating. But the arm problem is certainly real as evidenced by the photos of him post arm surgery by Dr. Ting. The mental psych out is not happening regardless of his temporary physical ailments. I'm pretty sure I didn't contradict myself...of course I try not to.

I dont think anybody was suggesting he was putting it on about the virus, maybe animating it a bit for the camera's, as for the arm pump i dont think anyone said he put that on.
