I can't help but wonder if Nicky Hayden feels a bit out of place on this new team...Seems like he's out of place on the slopes and on a go-kart; and out of place with those snooty Italians in general
Hopefully he can find his groove on that sexy new GP9
Being That his raced bikes all his life i dont think nickys much of a car driver. ive heard that when he hangs up the leathers he might jump into nascar, it would be intresting to watch.

I noticed they both were missing. I would have been more interested to see what Kallio could do on an ice kart than Raikkonen.
It's a shame it was only the "reds" really, the kart challenge they used to hold in Paris was fascinating. Although only open to drivers rather than riders.
According to Road Racer X he is enjoying himself. And he already got banned by Suppo from taking part in any skiing matches!:
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <div class='quotemain'>Nonetheless, he [Hayen]caught on quickly and proved that he’s definitely not afraid of speed. At one point, after getting a little sketched out by a couple of shaky turns, he decided to just point his skis downhill and bomb straight to the bottom of a pretty steep slope. “I wasn’t doing that to be cool!” he told Livio Suppo when the Ducati Marlboro Team Manager finally got to where Nicky had stopped at the bottom of the slope, but Suppo had seen enough and prohibited his new rider from participating in last night’s torchlight run and today’s race.
The video footage looks a lot more relaxed than anything I ever saw at Honda.
And ROFLMAO @ Stoner beating Massa. Shame Kimi pulled out of the race though.

Seconded. I bet the finns would have kicked some ... on ice.

Did Stoner get a big lead, and avoid the "aggressive" racing of the other karters?

He doubtless had a more powerful kart with better electronic aids.

Well...you can stop wondering. Hayden is just slow, period.

It seems like Ducati is the funnest team to be on theyre like the cool kids in school. They do fun stuff like this wrooom fest and a welcome party for nicky. Plus theyre customers always get special treatment at the all the Races. Nicky Really fits in well with them, it's just too bad all theyre clothing is like 4x more expensive than all other teams.
Yes but with the exception of the GAS Honda line it is also the only team merchandise you can wear in public without committing every fashion crime known to man.
