Who needs mankini? Well...pol knows where to stand in the pic.

Is it just me or is Pol wearing a maxi pad with wings? For ..... sake does everything in motogp have wings now?

....... mother fuckity .... you guys! I cannot stand to see another thread about these two guys. One is a retire test rider for Jorge and the other is an active rider. We get the rest, you don't have to start another thread to just state your opinion about an ongoing argument. We get it rossi bad stoner good, or stoner bad rossi good. If we had a time machine I would take you guys back a few years to when all this was relevant but I don't so lets see how long you all can talk about something else before our version of goodwins law pops its ugly head. If you mention Rossi or Stoner in this thread I will use my united airways gift cards to fly TPS to your house to beat your .... TPS I will have a limo and two black hookers waiting for you at your gate terminal upon arrival. So what do you guys want to talk about?

This couldnt come soon enough
Perhaps we could talk about points leaders marquez and lorenzo who are currently far ahead in points from the 3rd and 4th place alien bikes. The 3rd and 4th place riders who are already so far behind they are most likely out of the championship hunt after 4 races

Marc is looking solid. If Lorenzo continues to struggle with harder tires, Marc is going to Dungy this ..... and pull a points off consistent podiums. Add the loss of yamaha support and I don't see how Jorge stays in the title chase.

If there were only 6 races left you could be onto something there!

Does anyone know if the Circuit of Wales is going to happen or if its been ...... up?

They didn't get government backing to underwrite the project cost so it's in limbo if not dead in the water.

Not sure that I would call 7 points gap 2nd to 3rd 'far enough ahead in points'

The gaps current are:

First (Marquez) to second (Lorenzo) - 17 points
Second (Lorenzo to third (Rossi) - 7 points (cumulative 1st to 3rd - 24 points)
Third (Rossi) to fourth (Pedrosa) 18 points (cumulative 1st to 4th - 42 points)

14 races to go so to me, only Pedrosa is looking as though it may be difficult but it is only 3 points per weekend.

The COW Committee has produced and presented a new finance package to the powers that be welsh gov etc.
Personally I see it as time has run out, 5 year contract with Dorna and two of the five at shiverstone already and they don't have a cats chance of getting it done for 2017 so that will mean another at shiverstone.
So why build a track for two frigging races? It's beyond me.
Also Shiverstone are pissed with Dorna hence them not wanting the gp there when COW stood in and made the deal, with the plan to run it at Donny whilst COW was built.
I can honestly see sometime soon Shiverstone will tell them to fcuk off and the British round of the GP will be no more.
I do hope I am wrong.

I wish they'd just get it back to Donny, a real circuit !

So is Silverstone - fearsomely fast.

Although Donington is a much better spectators circuit, the access and facilities are like a war zone. I can live with that, but my main objection to its return is that very simply, it doesn't tend to produce great racing in GP - largely due to the ...... Melbourne Loop, or 'car park' section as Lawson christened it. From the start line through to coppice, it's amongst the finest ribbons of racing tarmac on the planet. The proposed modifications which were to swing the circuit infield would have been brilliant and allowed the flowing characteristics of the Parkland section to continue throughout the lap.

I think the Wheatcroft's have ownership again after the abortive Donington ventures project. Last time I was there was for a track day in November. Damn handy being only 24 miles from my door.

6 of 1 and half a dozen of the other imo, taking the Lorenzo/Marquez dices of 2013 & 14 aside, Silverstone has also had it's fair share of snoozers too. True Doningtons access & egress are shocking but the atmosphere is better.
It's a toss up for the coldest, Donny 05 or Silverstone 11 , probably the latter as the wind was blowing straight in the main stand.

Silverstone has been .... since about 2009. The old circuit layouts were far better.
