Cheers to Jorge, Marco, Kallio & JT!

"So, Mr. Edwards", asks the curious inquisitor, "what's your rationalization-of-the-week?"

Great rides by lorenzo and pedrosa; whatever anyone says about dani, he dose not lack intestinal fortitude as his response to injuries over his career shows. Both rossi, and especially stoner early in the race looked out of sorts. Maybe the usual pace of both does depend at least partly on testing/set-up ability; race conditions were apparently quite different from even the dry practice session. I have to say I wouldn't object to a 4 (or 5)-way championship battle, but will wait to see if normal service is resumed at jerez.

Somewhat encouraging result for toseland; I was disappointed by chris vermeulen's race.
(EDIT I agree capirossi and kallio had praiseworthy rides also)

wow, dani has some fight in him now doesn't he?

rossi looks gutted for 2nd.

lorenzo, congrats. hope he stays up there the whole season. hope dani gets there too.

stoner, damage limitation.

top ride for marco melandri and mika kallio

Wow eventful or what. Rossi barely ahead of Stoner after all that? Horhay in front. Marco can come to Suzuki anytime...

Yes a huge shame for Chris, don't know whether he had a problem or what but was disappointing to watch him drop off like that.

Go Marco!

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Hayden Fan @ Apr 25 2009, 11:10 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>From what I could see in the replay, Nicky was still on the ground after the crash was over and Takahasi was leaving the scene.

Taki was gifted a MotoGP ride, no decency to check on the guy he just torpedoed.

A really great race, excellent for Lorenzo and Pedrosa, yes Rossi is gutted but maybe the bike ~ for sure. And I think I was the only one that predicted KC not on the podium;)
And crap luck for Hayden, feel for the guy.

Ok ~ 2 beers down and back to bed lol

Pinky is funny as always with the Hayden & Rossi hate, but doesn't care to comment on how awful Stoner was at the start
<

Amazing race btw. There was some serious battle for the top 5 places, the pace of the riders going back and forth.

And I'm very glad Kallio was able to rise 8th!

Also, Dani's start was UNBELIEVABLE. Did anyone check the replay the showed at the end? I can't understand how he did that. Good race otherwise too.
