Here is Rossi's interpretation of Lorenzo's crash:

From GPone:

“Jorge's tyres were probably still cold on the left side. He changed direction very quickly, 250 style, and that made his front wheel raise. When it touched down again, load trasferred to the front and he lost rear grip... One keeps the throttle closed in that point, or 10% open maximum… There is nothing electronics can do in cases like that”.

Fast in Practice Edwards... He is at it again.

Let's hope that doesn't mean that the michelins are up to snuff at a Bridgestone track. I really want Rossi to win one soon... as in now!

lol i want rossi to grab a win but i think casey will, he is 7 kph faster down the straights so rossi must be cornering fast cos there times are even but what ever im expecting a great battle from these to with pedro spectating.
i hope they can find more top end speed with the yam i think then both rossi and lorenzo would be much quicker.

i hope honda hurry to with the new motor i believe pedro would be very quick with that also

its also good to see stoner back on form cos suppo was looking worried.

i know lorenzo is off the pace but hats off to him gettin out there

Damn,
Is it that much of a gap between Yamaha, Honda vs Suzuki,Kawasaki?

I mean other than Stoner there is a pretty large gap between the other manufacturers.

Beat me to it.

lol soz dude i promise i will leave QP for you to post

It would seem Stoner and Rossi are continuing their domination with Pedro slightly behind. Even though Pedrosa was 2nd quickest the other 2 put consistently faster laps together. Good to see Elias seeming to make some headway on another ducati. Maybe he can be the one that the ducati factory are looking for?
So, it looks like last years top 3 (in the championship) are gonna be fighting this one out, unless of course it rains, where I can't see Dani doing as well.
Lorenzo will do well to grab some points out of this, unless it rains, where he may as well not bother riding and risking further injury.

Agreed. If it rains, Lorenzo should stay in the garage. Pedrosa probably won't put up that many points on him.

This year , Yam will at least be able to match Ducati speed at the straight, if deficit by 2 to 3 kph..unlike last year. I bet no 46 will be at the top of podium..

top speed this, top speed that.

yam is just as fast as the ducati on the straights as witness last year when the yamaha over took the ducati on the straight.

Its hot today, but heavy rain and thunderstorms are scheduled for tomorrow.
