Yeah I agree, but remember that, as HRC's great white hope, Katoh was initially earmarked for Nicky's ride. I always believed he got the ride by default. He certainly won a championship by default

There is no such thing as winning a title by default unless the competition fails to show up on the grid.Were there circumstances,yes,win by default,no.He did what 17 other riders could not do,he took advantage of those circumstances.The title was avaialable for everyone on the grid and he was there to grab it.Its been 2 years,get over it.

HRC would probably be considered biased unless they ran Nicky as a one man factory team.

Interesting read. The Nicky & Ducati rumour seems to be gathering pace.

Anyone been over to Kropotkin's site today? Crazy rumours over there of West getting replaced by Melandri and Melandri getting replaced by (possibly) Barros, after China.

Silly season is on in full after 4 races - hahaha, I love it!!

Rossi fastest in FP1, but only found the fast laps at the end.
Stoner second, Pedro 3rd.
Lorenzo probably suffering from his operation still, promptly replaced by Dovi in the top four...

However, this could be a wet race...

Lorenzo sucks in the wet(no pun intended), like Pedrosa.

If it rains, it will be a three way battle between Stoner, Rossi and Vermeulen FTW, possibly with West in there too.

.... im gutted lorenzo high sided bad, doc thinks he got a fractured ankle he gone for x-rays but i hope he hasnt, i hope is arm will be ok too.
