Wasn't it Dovi who said that?

Yikes...hope Lorenzo is still able to race.

It'd be a shame to have his dream 1st season ruined by a practice fall.

They both did(Dovi and Jorge).

Jorge commented that on a 250, if you make a small mistake, it has a big effect on the lap time. You must be very precise, but the 800 is very forgiving.

I think Dovi also said that TC means that he can hold the throttle wide open at apex, whereas if he did so on his 250 he would be in the gravel.

When the tyre is still cold and you make a mistake - which is what seems to have happened to Lorenzo - there is no TC that can save it, yet...

Its nice to see DeAnglelis showing some of his speed and potential, Quickest rookie so far. Lets hope he can get results to support the speed hes found.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BigAl @ May 2 2008, 12:28 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>as much as i am a non-fan of his, that made my stomach churn....

that could have been much much worse and IMO he was lucky to get away with a broken ankle or 2 only......

Perhaps casey was not as unlucky as he thought at jerez and estoril.

Lorenzo is lucky he didnt land on his head or neck, I think it would of killed him. Very lucky boy.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (willdafrog @ May 2 2008, 06:54 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>After reading the article on Motogp. Looks like Jorge is in deep trouble. Might be out for a while.

I am sure Casey, Vale, Dani, feel sorry for him, but at the same time, not sooo much!

im not sure about that rossi looked gutted about that he even put his face in a towel, i dont think riders go that far to want there competitors out of the racing.

looks like we have ALL new pics we can add to the Fun with "VAL" thread. lol

me too. i thought highsides were a thing of the past ! what gives ?

"Lorenzo could ride on Saturday despite fractured ankle...A chipped bone in his left ankle and pain in that of his right side are the consequences of a huge highside...'The big problem I think is the right ankle, where there isn't any fracture'...'Tomorrow morning we are going to take a decision. If the pain is decreased, we could help him to ride, if it is to the contrary then I think it´s better to wait. The rider has the last word'".

So could still happen...?

Looks like the electronics went haywire. That's what happens when you ride with the throttle wide open.

Electro nanny failed.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

This sport gets more lame by the minute.
