It's more of a big deal to some people on here than the actual riders. All of them without exception will get miffed if someone gets in the way of a fast lap. Happens all the time, it only gets mentioned because it's Rossi, anybody else would be meh.

A lot of things are a bigger deal on here than to the riders. Whats your point? It does happen all the time but when it happens to Rossi his entitlement takes over. If you don't see the relevance I suggest watching the last few season maybe context will help you understand. I'll wait.

Since you actually said my point I wonder why you asked what my point was.
And because Rossi got a penalty for impeding Lorenzo at Misano I must ask exactly where does this *entitlement* come in?

One of a few rare instances where Rossi wasn't treated with kid gloves does not address a multitude of those where his transgressions were blatantly ignored. Mayhaps with yourself it's a case of not seeing the forest for the trees.

Put you ....... fishing rod away. It looks like I wrote your point unless you read carefully. But you however did make my entitlement point by bring up Misano. His entitlement is in his own head where entitlement always is. So Rossi was fine with the penalty point or did he feel entitled to being in the right? Tress in the forest, as Keshav said.

Can you list those *crimes* and why you thought they were worthy of punishment?

That particular point was needless anyway.

Don't muddy the waters here mate. I never said *crimes*. I'd list all of his ........ here but I get carpel tunnel just thinking about it. Besides - in true Valeban fashion, you'd just waste everybody's time with all the usual Bopper justifications we've had laid at our feet here for years. Been there done that. Not going to go through all that for the 101st time. Some worship Jesus, some Mohammed or Krishna... whatever delusion keeps you warm and happy.

What you're actually saying is you can't produce anything...whatsoever.
Might as well put diversion signs up!

Good luck to you for fighting your corner in this very small part of the bike racing universe where your allegiance is the minority one DB I guess, but as Keshav says it is frankly delusional to suggest that Rossi is in any way hardly done by officialdom, the ownership/management of the sport, or in terms of fan support for him/fan prejudice against him, with things overwhelmingly his way in the wider world in regard to the latter in particular.

Morning warm-ups, Marquez fastest, Vinales two tenths behind.

Looks like all of the Honda's were running medium front/hard rear along with the exception of Pedrosa who went soft instead. Rossi was on medium/hard.

Vinales was back on the Medium/Medium. Herve Poncharal said the medium will last the race.

Sun is out so temperatures will be up by 2PM local time. I wonder if MM might decide hard/hard for the race if the track temperature goes up. This race is going to be decided on tire life I think. Vinales is fastest in sector 1 and 4, so it's going to be fascinating to see how this race unfolds and what approach the riders take.

Just so you understand. It's nothing personal. It's just that you, like so many before you, believe you are something new and different.

But... you are not.

We've seen your kind here a thousand times, and you're all from the same cookie cutter mold, stamped out like plastic trash bags on a conveyor belt. You come in guns blazing, humming "New Kid In Town" thinking you're taking on the non-Rossiistic heathens; gonna shake 'em up (Not likely many will notice as there's so many alkies here who wake up with the shakes most days anyhow) gonna whip 'em into shape blah blah blah.

Fact is, we've seen it and heard it thousand times. There isn't a word you said or a gambit you've employed that isn't a worn out cliche 'round these parts. I suppose there will always be one or two bored types who are content to have the same debate over and over and over etc. Not me.

There have been some really epic Boppers who have preceded you, like Rog and J4rno and Talpa who posed new and original arguments what were interesting to discuss. You're not in their league; not even close. To date, you've only employed trite, stale cliches we've all heard too many times. Like Dylan said: "No no I been through this movie before."

The announcers, yesterday, sure made a point that Rossi was on the inside and couldn't have seen Vinales. They omitted the points that Rossi was going slow and swung out to the outside on corner exit. A. He shouldn't have been on the race line at his speed, and B. If he is going to go that slow, then he needs to stay INSIDE and not swing wide. He was riding just like novice or bad riders do at track-days.

The track is so bumpy that maybe Marc has to run the medium. But, I get really nervous for him when he changes from the hard front. His history is a lot better with the hardest front.

I didn't suggest Rossi was 'hard done by' I do think he gets the same consideration as any other rider in the application of the rules for track infringements etc. Too many cameras to try anything underhand which is being suggested by others.

I've read responses like that many times, they usually come when people realise they aren't winning the argument.

Hot dog vendors at COTA are wearing yellow shirts. Proof Rossi is getting special treatment. I bet they cooked those hot dogs to his liking, right after warm up

And responses like your response to his response are often from people who like to run both sides of an argument and call themselves the winner.

That you think what Kesh posted is predicated on the idea of winning or losing means that you are not understanding what he wrote.

Just a FYI, when you continue resorting to the fishing emoticon, it's pretty much ensuring no one here will take you seriously on any subject and that it's not amusing to anyone here when people are actually giving you thoughtful intelligent responses.
