Had to chuckle about how the commentary picture/imagine Lorenzo on the grid lining up behind Rossi and beating him to the first corner. Just watched Lorenzo do a practice start, I can picture/imagine him making the first corner just in front of the ktm's. Nah just kidding but man was he pissed, I like him he wears his heart on his sleeve that's for sure. Never has a man with 3 world titles been so happy to qualify 6th.

That was an entertaining qualifying session. Looks like there is a lot of potential for a amazing race at the front with MV only a tenth off MM's qualifying time. I found it hilarious how disappointed Lin Jarvis looked after Yamaha qualified 2nd and 3rd on the grid.
A nice surprise was getting to see Lorenzo excited after getting the Ducati onto the second row. I hope it's a step forward for the morale in the garage.

It's more of a big deal to some people on here than the actual riders. All of them without exception will get miffed if someone gets in the way of a fast lap. Happens all the time, it only gets mentioned because it's Rossi, anybody else would be meh.
I seem to recall rather a lot of comment when it was Stoner getting miffed.

He did have quite an attitude problem with slower riders, some rightfully so. And it did get a negative reaction from fans . Still it was as much of a bunch of nothing then as it is now.

So nothing is relevant except top of the podium? Without the other riders, what would first place
be related to? Without competitors to beat, there would be nothing except a time trial.
