Yep, I agree with you there, but I would have said his mum was the one behind it!

The video of that interview on motogp.com is shockingly edited, it makes it look as if he is still having a go at Rossi.

Fair play to him though, that's what it's all about.

At last....it is good that he seems to be starting to understand what racing is...
Some integrity at least....

I think it might have more to do with the comments of people like Schwantz, rather than his mum's or wife's advices... It was pretty lonely in that self-righteous spot where he had put himself, so the only sensible thing to do was to smile and get the hell out of it--with the plus that it is now 100% legit for him to go all out and try to beat Rossi at his own game on Sunday afternoon...

Agreed. I feel that because this issue of his integrity or whatever you want to call it cast a bit of a shadow he just brought out the sun by doin what he just did by apologising. Now we all know the playing field after Vale set the tone. We shall see a duel if Stoner is feeling good same with Rossi cause Casey is a bit under the weather right now. I hope it's a barnburner with Casey comin out on top of this one.

I was thinking the same thing.
