Quicker to report on crap and old Stoner/Rossi comment with much more coverage than reporting on a good story like how amazing Stoner/Spies rode after massive crashes.

It's the nature of the business and not restricted to GP reporting.



Controversy sells.



The thing you can do is to not buy into it, but looking at the majority of posts, people seem more interested in gossip than the racing.

Was watching Sports Nation this morning while getting ready for work, and they have a segment for hardest hits of the weekend. The first 2 were crushing blows in football, but the winner was this guy getting thrown off his " Superbike" at Indianapolis. Of course that guy was the Moto GP world champion . Everyone in the racing world knows Danica Patrick ran over a shoe that somehow caused here sway bar to break but the world champion Moto Gp star is some guy on a Superbike.
