Rossi Claims Stoner "Obstructed" Him At Estoril Test



According to reports from the Italian broadcaster Sportmediaset - and confirmed by the Italian sports daily Gazzetta dello Sport - Valentino Rossi has claimed that Casey Stoner attempted to block the Italian while the pair of them were riding during the official MotoGP test on the Monday after the Estoril round.

Oh I get it, the journos are trying to goad them into a public confrontation.

You have to wonder who is creating most of this drama, it seems it ain't Stoner & Rossi.
 
Variously on the internet for a day or two now, with the scale of the incident varying according to source, including it mainly being an invention of the Italian press.



I think it is all good fun, as rossi is quoted as saying on one site whilst rating the championship as 50:50 between jorge and dani, obviously needling stoner further but perhaps more significantly rather discounting his own chances

Casey has had his fun, if he wants to win the championship whilst he needn't back down to valentino he needs to concentrate on beating the aforementioned jorge and dani.

Everybody is laughing but it is not funny because they are playing with their lives and riding at 300 kmph and are with bikes that are very powerful and very heavy. It is not mini-bikes. So it is dangerous sport and you have to think what do you do.



























OK, seriously, Stoner forced Rossi off the track and word got out, so someone asked him about it. It's not like Rossi's running to the press to complain. And underneath the Italian media's desire for page traffic are a couple of riders who genuinely hate each other, and that's interesting to see it manifest itself in the racing.
 
Oh brother, they need to schedule these races closer together. Riders, media and fans have way to much time on their hands between races.Max would be right at home in GP today, he would just be one of the ......., i mean boys.

I guess this time Only Stoner knows if he did that to Rossi, since we Really haven't seen any pictures this time unlike the last gp.

This makes it even more difficult to wait 4 more days for the race.
