Hayden got mugged but thats racing, his time will come.

Lorenzo rode like a demon in the last few laps.

Pressure already getting to Stoner?

Yeah, it's called immaturity, remember whan pedro threw it away while leading by a country mile a couple of years ago. can't remember where but it was raining. An out of control ego will get you into trouble.

2008 Sachsenring. If pedrosa woulda won that entire championship if he would have just kept it on two wheels there. Messed up his mojo.
 
Without the actions of Lorenzo and Hayden, this would be a very boring race.

Poor Hayden, i felt a bit sorry for him, he did everything perfect,just to lose the podium by less than a meter. But Lorenzo did another overtaking race with his injury and at the end, 1 of those 3 had to miss the podium. This season could be better than the last one, if Dovi and Hayden can continue like this.

I didn't expect Rossi to win this one, even after Stoner crashed. Dovi was a bit faster than Rossi and Rossi couldn't build a gap, even Dovisiozo was racing with Nikky.

but at the end again Lorenzo showed his nature and came second on that podium. at least he kept the championship more exiting with his 2nd place finish.

my live stream died just before Casey's crash, and at once i saw Vale was leading the race.
What happend to Casey? Did they showed a reply of his crash? I hope he hasn't broken any thing.

poor Casey lost a best chance of starting his season on a high. but this was just the 1st of 18 races, and i,m sure the other tops will have a few dnf's sometimes, even without bike problems.

That race was in Sachsenring 08.

I hope you are right..He is supremely talented. I had a little wager on him running away with this race.

Yes it's a BIT strenge, but he was clearly slower than Dovi,Hayden and Lorenzo.
 
man what a way to start the season!!! ....... brilliant! not 1 not 2 but 3 great races. man i was friggin about to blow a vocal cord out for nicky! what a shame but it's good to see him up there fighting like that! good on dovi tho i did not think he had it in em but he is a fighter & was very fast, in the straight especially so..... man what can you say about lorenzo tho! i really thought his hand would hamper him toward the end of the race.... the kid is nails!!! a great ride by spies as well. i was doubting him after his qualy but he came thru & was down to within 2 sec of........... rossi... what can i say that hasn't been said about golden boy? congrats.... and to all the rest! on to motegi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Damn I kept yelling at the TV for Nicky to make a move with 2 laps to go. Lol I kept saying "Don't wait till the end, that Honda got way too much on the straight...". Sure enough, Nick waited and passed on the last lap, without a big enough gap on Dovi. Great job overall though from Hayden though, from 9th at the start no less!
 
In his post-race interview on Italian tv Rossi explained that whatever small changes they made to his setup before the race, did not work as expected. His bike was sliding too much, he said. He added that Stoner was too fast for him. Still he could fight Dovi and Lorenzo off.

Well, what he says figures, - the sliding problem explains the excessive fuel consumption and his relative slowness compared to the tests.
