Now, yes. Not back then.

Honda would have had Valentino back, it's him who has no interest in Honda.

You guy's have this wrong! It is rossi & his people/journalist who started that crap to help muscle his way within yamaha. No body in HRC/HMC talks about him. I've seen videos of the HRC/HMC museum tours. When the RC211V is shown, it is mention as their championship winning bike. While the names of other riders are mention.

Vice President says one thing & the President says another

~~~ UPDATE ~~~
We erroneously attributed the quotes above to Tetsuo Suzuki, President of HRC, but it was pointed out to us that they were actually made by Shuhei Nakamoto, Vice President of HRC and the man in charge of the day-to-day running of Honda's MotoGP effort. The story has been changed to assign the quotes to the right person.
Those quotes were on the record.
They hate Rossi now after Sepang 15.
As they should.
Not that it matters, Honda have MM in their employ, who is a don’t get mad get even guy, and Rossi will struggle to win another race while he is riding for HRC, particularly given that I would surmise preventing Rossi from winning another race is a stromg motivation for him, perhaps following the historical precedent as is his wont of a certain curse laid upon a Spanish rider over a decade ago. Along those lines, I don’t like Rossi’s prospects for race wins in the short to mid term as a Yamaha team manager either, given HRC have signed Jorge as well.
They have no integrity. Of course they're going to argue that the sky isn't blue to avoid keeping their word.
The quote from Motomatters is automatically invalid, because according to you and Blotus everything that comes out of Kropotkin's mouth is a lie for the purpose of glorifying Rossi. Now you're using his info to validate your nonsense. Can't have it both ways boys.
Moreover nobody was talking about what Honda would do a decade ago. The conversation was in the present.
That you or Blotus who one minute hate each other's guts and next minute are sucking each other's dicks should speak of "integrity" is really rich. The only thing you two have in common is a need to be patronizing and condescending toward anyone who disagrees with you. I spit on your integrity.
And for good measure... In an interview with French mag Motorevue, the vice president of Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) has said the company has not ruled out the possibility of securing former employee Valentino Rossi for a second stint in their MotoGP team.
"Maybe yes, maybe no ... Nothing is impossible," said Shuhei Nakamoto, when asked if Honda were interested in Rossi, whose contract with Yamaha expires at the end of the 2010 season.
Not exactly an unequivocal statement.
I have to agree while not endorsing vilification of any individual posters on this forum any mention of integrity in the context of MotoGP and Rossi or Rossi fans is dubious, oxymoronic perhaps.
No, I have been consistent. I like Kropotkin. You're inventing a narrative to avoid living up to your word, which is disappointing.
I knew that you would call "fake news" as soon as someone provided the article.
I am feeling more benignly inclined towards Valentino than I have for some time, he is currently riding extremely well with not much attitude, and if there is any truth in what the google translation in the other thread suggests I have little or no sympathy for Jarvis, a politician himself, but you have jumped the shark imo playing the integrity card where Rossi, Rossi fans, and gp bike racing is concerned. Given what has been dished out to his rivals I hardly think any negative sentiment towards Valentino on this forum amounts to much in the overall scheme of things.
Not at all. I said that the statement you quoted is mealy-mouthed and falls far short of being unequivocal.
I pointed out Blotus' hypocrisy, in that he has consistently stated that everything Kropo says regarding Valentino is dishonest, serving only to glorify Valentino, who Dave apparently is in the pocket of.
More importantly, and you cherry pick around this, the conversation about Rossi and Honda was about present relationships, not some wishy-washy, non-comittal and hypothetical soft-soap PR question posted years ago that is irrelevant in the present day context of Honda's views regarding Rossi. "Anything's possible" is scarcely a hard commitment. It's a limp handshake, a thing a big exec says to save face, not wanting to express the indignity of losing one's composure over having lost face due to the actions of a mere employee.
And even supposing you were right, you need to bare in mind, that you and Blotus, offer very little in the way of respect to anyone who disagrees with you, so why would any member who has constantly been the target of your aggressively hateful campaign of vilification feel compelled in any way to respect your wishes or worry about your opinion? You will note that when I post a reply to anything said in a neutral tone, I return the favor.
