On point one, I disagree. "Anything's possible" is not a committed yes.

On point two, Blotus clicked his approval of your link and thereby asserts that Emmet's article is an affirmation of the one he linked to. And if as I have said before Blotus' default opinion is that all Emmet's positive articles about Rossi are lies and spin in the service of glorifying Rossi, then logically since both articles state the same thing, one cannot be right and the other wrong, and since Blotus is never wrong, one can only conclude that both articles are not true. :happy:

I have no problem with disputing, or a bit of gotcha. PS is built on that, but the meanspirted aggressive alienation of some members is so unnecessary. The prevalent vibe is here is spirited fun and sometimes taking the piss, so yes, I sometimes butt in certain people act like all this chat is a life and death matter and take themselves WAY too seriously coming down with the fire and brimstone and moralizing.

Note: To say something is absolute ........ is not the same as taking personal pot-shots at you. Maybe lighten up a little?

I love how Blotus is incapable of defending his quoting a source to back an assertion, when he's repeatedly denigrated that very source for being dishonest and unreliable, so naturally, he resorts to gratuitious insults in lieu of any counter argument.

I'll tell you what Wally, Emmett was a better journalist back then before he turned into what he is now. There was a time reading his stuff was enjoyable before he became a Dorna hack. That link RCV posted was from 2009, almost 10 years ago. He wasn't writing the .... he writes in this day and age.

The two members you refer to were the instigators. If you enter the discussion in the middle, it might appear that way, but if you look at the timeline, it's pretty clear it's amply merited.

Question 2. Because you two always tag team everybody you disagree with and it was expedient to address you as a paired entity. Particularly, because you're more interesting to debate with.

I look through the posts and see no evidence of either member resorting to name calling and excessive rudeness. You want to call people out? Fine, but do it with facts instead of resorting to insults.

And leave us not talk of honor, or moral failings etc etc. This is a glorified chat room with guys talking about racing and taking the piss. If honor, truthfulness and integrity were absolute requirements for participating, Jumkie, Johnny Crackpipe and that whole lot would have been banished years ago.
