Mistakes happen, but that is one interpretation.

Valentino seems to use a different approach for the new breed, perhaps encouraging them to be overconfident at crucial times. In the lead-up to laguna seca 2008 he said stoner was too fast for him to beat that week-end, and before this race said lorenzo was his most mentally tough opponent, mental toughness not perhaps on display today, although particularly as a stoner fan I will give him the benefit of the doubt if he is crook.

It was pitty that Lorenzo lost it otherwise we could have a better race Maybe.
It was'nt a bad race anyway, but because Rossi is fighting for the championship he couldn't go all the way for it.

It would have been an absolutly stupid thing to do if he had pushed Casey and had finished with a DNF .

If Rossi had played it safe from the begin of the season and he hadn't wasted his opportunities then he would have the championship in his bag by now.

he didn't capitalise on Lorenzo's dnf's twice, and he also throw away a guaranty of a podium place in France, when he was so serious of fighting with Horhey in that rainy race.Of cource that's his style and without that we wouldn't have those exiting races of him.

for example today he could play it all safe and from the 3th lap just try to maintain his 2nd place but he pushed and gave the public and us a better race to watch, than what it could become. The Doctor almost went off once.

Now for the Rossi fans there is a bit more insurance, even if it's not a guaranty for the winning the MOTOGP 2009 championship YET.

So if he finishes on podium next week in Malaysia he will be the champion, but there is a long way to go still untill the finish of that race.

I was a bit unsatisfied with a few race of him this year, but anyway he still is the best In My Opinion of cource.

Go Vale Go.

He will still be the best in everyone's opinion unless something very unusual happens in the next 2 races.
