Oh my god, a Repsol rider waving a fist at a slower rider on track.
Seriously, how dare he.
Yeah, Spaniad on Spaniard though. So nothing to see here, move along!! )

Stoner 1:30 flat. He ran a series of 30.6 laps in FP3, which is still faster than anyone's Q time so far. This is gonna be one Zzzz race at the front.

Gunna be great if he gets away from the pack and runs away with it, none of this boring shuttlcock match that "close racing" looks like
Hope we get a real treat tommorow, ie. a riding lesson from Stoner.
Why would you enjoy a bunch boring looking rider milling around swapping places, when there is a standout who is 1000 X better to watch ?
Close racing ........ STFUIf you guys really liked watching "close racing" WHyTF don't you watch a racing formula that produces it ?
Stoner grabs pole, no one seriously able to challenge him.
Big winners - Bautista in 4th (thanks in part to a big tow from Dovi) and Hayden in 6th only 0.8s off pole and close in time to those around him and even the front row.
Rossi makes late improvement to jump to 13th and 2s off pole, and 1.2s off Hayden. Only beats the ducati of Abraham who crashed at the end of the session. (Cudlin sat out). He's seriously not trying you'd have to say, must just be waiting to see if it rains on Sun to decide if he'll bother trying or not.
Weather here in Adelaide has been squally thunderstorms with lots of rain followed by periods of sunshine but the wind has been gusting quite badly all day long. Looks to be another Phillip Island race where the weather may play a role in determining the outcome - hopefully it stays dry.
If it is cold suiting soft tyres lorenzo is a chance. Stoner as opposed to earlier in the season seems to have found the trick of going fast on them for a few laps in practice but has not as yet to my knowledge demonstrated the ability to keep them going for race distance.
Pedrosa is the surprise although historically on more than a few occasions his race performance has had little to do with his qualifying times; I do wonder if, remembering 2006, honda might have turned the wick down on his bike.
