You wanna know who I also like? Alex Rins. I freaking love Suzuki but I just can't stand Iannone. Hope Rins delivers a great season to his Team, they deserve it

No worries. My favorite guy in American supercross/motocross is definitely Tomac, but I gotta admit Jason Anderson is one BAD mofo.

As per the 250s, I really like Cianciarulo nowadays

I like AC as well but I fear he's going to be the Pedrosa of SX.
I feel bad for the kid. He was the GOAT of amateur racing but hasn't shown that same greatness as a pro.
Dub has a man crush on Tomac. You two are soulmates. All that's left to sort out is who's going to be the bottom.

Im glad to see a real Italian who's a Dovi fan. A lot of us were wondering if you guys existed.
Don't listen to Barry. He's not a real Dovi fan, he's just a pretender

Seems like everyone here is a Dovi fan since 2017. Thing is most of those who say so never really cared about him before. So we like to draw a line between those who followed him properly since before (like myself) and those who jumped on the bandwagon. Most of the bandwagoners wanted Marquez to loose more than they wanted Dovi to win, which I think is sad.

Oh and then you got the Ducatisti, but they are another breed...

I always liked Dovi for his personality, not sure how we behaves on english-speaking medias but on the italian ones he's just cool. I was lucky enough to chat with the guy twice, in real life he's even better.

Ì have been a Dovi fan since Stoners days. In the rain one guy looked as good as Stoner ..... Dovi. Rain is a good measure of a rider.

Agree. UK 2009, I remember that very well.

Btw in the above comment by "here" I meant in Italy, of course :)

Dovi is like Cal. You may find a lot of people who say it's not their favorite but I doubt anyone can actually dislike him.

Btw I love Cal :bb:

Just needs Dovi to talk a bit more out of the box and they'd be almost twins .

I am not a mtb purist bro I like the ebikes. From what I know about you I'd say thats a great choice for you. There is a big stink right now over freestyle mtb'er Sam Pilgram, guess what kind of bike company he signed with?

I was thinking over the last few years that Id have to give it up. But the ebike has given me a whole new lease on riding. Its actually a bit of a new sensation too because it has new aspects to it. Like flowing UP a hill, in that respect its like a subtle moto. And you start to ride things you wouldnt have before. Mind you my bike has like 1500W ( if I want ) compared to the 250W legal around here. Still all pedal assist though, I want to keep it bike .... not wannabe moto, so I am not installing the throttle.

Good fun, and an extention to my riding life.;)

Thats awesome B. I think they are rad because I am all about the downhill flow. Anything to help give me more time and energy to do that I am all for. I had thought of the idea of feeling uphill flow its cool to hear you say that. I've been leaning toward a full downhill ebike. We don't have lift parks around my area.

Perfect situation to get one then! Its unbelievably easy. Just have to watch your battery level. The extra weight actually feels good on the downhill.

I'm not sure anyone is actually making a pure DH ebike yet. The nearest Ive seen is a Specialised Kenevo 180 up front and a coils rear. More like a heavy Enduro bike though.
I actually fitted a kit to my DH bike for that exact reason. And if I want to go back to a pure DH bike I just take all the e-gear off. Only drawbacks are about 30mm less space to ground just in front of the BB. And I had a great set of 165mm Truvativ Howitzer cranks on it that I cant use. Runs a 170mm square taper but its been ok, especially as I don't do anything to big these days.

Haibike makes one. Santa Cruz makes an ebike conversion for their v-10 dh bike but like you said, it lowers ground clearance which is already an issue. They need to do it on a bike like the commencal dh which has that unique high drivetrain with added clearance. I don't mind pedaling my 150mm bike. Its the dh bike I wouldn't mind the extra weight on anyway.

So your pretending to pedal?

Thread hijack for a test post.

I've only made a handful of posts in the last year or so, but none of them have ever shown up (I think only one had the word 'Rossi' in it as well).....

Cheers

If you want people to see your posts just say something about Casey Stoner. Preferably negative. His supporters will dust of their keyboard and fling vegamite at you like a monkeys at the zoo.

My post would have to be visible first :)

Maybe you need so many posts before you can post outside the new member's area?

I'll attempt a post elsewhere and see what happens...

6 posts but I an only look this one up. Something isn't working right.
I think the others are awaiting an admin to approve them (some for as long as a year :) )

It seems to be ok now though, I've posted in the main MotoGP forum and it showed up (I've deleted the post now as it was bumping an old thread)
