I would suggest to give him VRs bike but I honestly dont think he would do better. Hes trying to prove a point. And hes proving it. Yamaha need to equip him with everything to take points away from Pedro. God knows VR isnt doing it.

CRT with their special tires are making the Factory Aprillia riders look way better than they are, goes the same for other guys riding competitive bikes. (U can stick ur head in the sand if u like, but if u follow the sport as most do here then ur a ....... idiot if u think otherwise).


Final notes, I hope Marc doesnt ..... foot around Pedro tomorrow as he clearly did last race. HRC may not be in the habit of assigning team orders (which wss never really the dispute) but im certain he got a talking to which kept him from ramming through Pedro as IS Marc custom, defensive lines or not.

And...if Jorge Lorenzo races tomorrow and finishes the race, he will achieve accolades he deserves!


Oh yeah, dear Bradley Smith, get the .... out of Marc's way for gods sakes man. Dear Bautista. That pain in ur eyes that feels like needles, ignore it. Orange is the new blue.

Some of you seem to be saying that if Dani takes the title this year it will be a "Tainted title" - Why??


 


There wont be that big a points gap & the HRC boys will probably trip over each over & let Cal & Vale in at times anyway,plus it will release a bit of pressure on Jorge's engine situation.


 


I have always said that everyone who has their name on that trophy has deserved it & i stand by that but to say if Dani wins it is only because of another riders injury i think is rubbish. You would have to apply the same to one of Rossi's titles & both of Jorge's - 


 


2010 - Lorenzo won due to Rossi broken leg


2012 - Lorenzo won due to Stoner breaking his ankles

I think there will be one of those nice yellow cards heading in Dovi's direction!

Talking about ART Jum, I watched qualifying live and Jules was saying how next year the art will get a pneumatic valve head and may be a better option than a proddy Honda or a yam engine, so I tweeted him and said if they do that they will become a prototype and loose their special tyres and their fuel allowance and be nowhere but he never answered, tosser.

Mind you Barbara did deserve it,all he ever does is hang around to get tows off of other riders - there are 2 riders who i dont think deserve their seats & he is one them.

In both of these years, Lorenzo was ahead of Casey before Casey's accident, and he was ahead of Rossi before Rossi's accident. In both cases I would say that it was made easier for Lorenzo because of his opponent's accident. But I wouldn't say that he 'won due to' the accidents, as he was winning anyhow.

While carrying a really nasty hand injury. Look at Bradl's position at this time last year as a comparison (43 pts v 34 for Smith). Smith is currently in 11th in the points, just two points behind arguably the best CRT rider in the field. Not bad for a rookie after six races, despite a DNF in Qatar.

I'm not convinced. Which rookies on Japanese factory or satellite bikes have done worse than Smith in the last few years?

A lot of recent entries into the fold had been getting varying levels of factory support before stepping onto the big stage, and in a lot of cases that continued once in GP. Even Simoncelli during the "rookie rule" days was riding a mostly factory bike, and had been on factory rides before that. Smith is coming in from a satellite team with limited funding and an arguably sub-par bike and making the adjustment to a semi-factory customer GP bike with some factory support. He seems to be growing into it, improving race by race. If he doesn't plateau I think that he's got promise in the class.

I agree. When JLo went down it was his own fault, nobody around and he was trailing Pedro in the points after all these Yamaha tracks when he hit the dirt.
