MotoGP Gran Premio Iveco de Aragón Predictions

I want to see Pedrosa win it and Lorenzo 2nd, and Marquez to make a massive mistake and run off the track and dump the bike in a gravel trap. Pedrosa deserves a title just to shut some of you naysayers of him up.

No one "deserves" a title...Pedrosa's had eight years to win a championship, but unless Marquez does something incredibly boneheaded over the next

five races, Pedrosa is about to watch a third teammate win the title. On a bike supposedly built for him, no less.

Here's the difference between Lorenzo and Pedrosa: Lorenzo believes he can win. Pedrosa doesn't. Simple as that. Pedrosa is broken mentally, but who can blame him, given that he's getting his ... handed to him by a rookie.

Agree 100%.. The sooner these kids that were given trophies  for showing up, realize that is not real life, the better off they will be. As William Munny said, " Deserves got nothing to do with it "

Aragon is typically a honda/stoner track, but looking a the last few races Lorenzo has upped his game, since coming back from injury he has looked better than ever, I dont think he is any faster than he was earlier in the year or even last year but his racecraft has improved and he is outthinking the opposition for sure, so it kinda throws a spanner in the works....

Maybe the end of the lap makes it too Honda-ish

1. Maq

2. Ped

3. Lor

4. Bau

5. Ros

Interestingly i think Marc made a good play thru the media recently, saying "its Pedrosa that should win the WC for Honda" puts a bit more heat on Pedro and playing his "i'm a rookie if I crash i'm learning" card very well.

I literally laughed out loud when I saw this interview. Full marks (no pun intended) to Marquez for saying this with a straight face. I don't think even Pedrosa thinks he's the #1 rider at HRC anymore.

That interview with Marquez left me scratching my head. But this weekend Pedrosa is starting out strong. When he starts the weekend this strong, he will be unstoppable on Sunday. I'm watching for a lightning quick Pedrosa start, while Marquez will start poorly and Lorenzo will ride around in 2nd all alone. Marquez will probably try and make up for his poor start and crash. He's had a lot of close calls with mistakes this season but always just brushes them off. At some point one of his mistakes is seriously going to bite him in the ....

One problem with that prediction, though: when was the last time Pedrosa actually tried to win anything?

Still waiting for Pedro to bolt, hasn't done it once this season if i'm correct. The kid is smart, he knows to bin it will seriously cost him. He has had a well measured season and will finish enough to take the points.

Agree 100%. He knows that, to win the title, all he has to do is keep coming second to Lorenzo. He won't do anything dumb at this point in the season when the world championship is his to lose.

Unless Lorenzo is running second to Dani.

Then he has a problem. ;)
