i just watched he press conference and the asked lorenzo if making many laps in practice was gonna be an issue

that ..... journo was just spoutin about the same story we've all read..... theres no proof that lorenzo, he claimed stoner also has used 3 engines as well, has used up 3 engines already. if this were the case then nobody is gonna make it to the end of the season on six.

Doesn't all of the riders use about 3 engines up till now?

One or two for Fridays and free practices or whatever and one that only runs in the races perhaps?

I suspect the engine faliures will come on free practices and not qualifying,warmup or race.

Lorenzo is going to crash out, hes due for one, they guy never really goes this long without some type of spectacular wreck.
 
Can someone tell me why they have left a block of concrete on the inside of one of the turns?? It's there to stop the cars cutting the corner but it will kill a motorcyclist. I thought tracks were meant to be getting safer. ....... stupid.

it's not literally a block of cement.... it's a high curb.

Why do we keep revisiting this issue? They've probably all used 3 engines. According to Burgess they all used 2 engines at the first round. Engine #1 was for practice and qualifying. Engine #2 was a brand new race lump. At round 2 they used Engine #1 for practice and qualifying. Engine #2 for the race.



They rotate the engines so they always have something fresh for the races.



It's been 4 rounds so chances are engine #1 is spent. Engine #2 has been pressed into practice and qualifying duty. Engine #3 is a brand new fresh engine.



They rotate the engines.
