MotoGP: Aragón RACE

Yes talented people can and do cheat, Ricky Johnson one of the greatest motocross riders ever, publicly stated "if you aint cheatin you aint winning"  but there is no proof MM did cheat, his answers from his team that he opened the throttle much earlier than the rest have been born out in motogp, as him getting under Jorge with his front wheel on the dirt and his back wheel spinning on the rumble strips  have proved, just because he is fast does not mean he has cheated.

But using other riders as burms is.

FWIW I dont buy into the cheating engine theory.

Off the track at Guna I can live with, he was sorta pushed, but he did plan it on the thursday I saw photo's ;)

It seems MM has become public enemy number 1 around here. Not sure why? The kid is unbelievably good. Made a mistake with his braking point & was lucky to be racing at a track with Asphalt run offs. Every rider on the grid has made that mistake at some point many times. I think Marc is going to break a lot of Rossi's records before he is done & dusted. Thats isn't going to make him too popular either. Bad luck to Pedro but in the scheme of things, i don't see him beating Marc or Jorge for a title in a straight up fight. This is his 8th year on a factory Honda & he hasn't been able to get the job done. Jorge needs his team mate getting involved in the fight with the Repsol boys, but unfortunately he is only fighting with the satellite bikes a long way back. Needs to call time on his career very soon.

Somehow I think you'll see Rossi's results improve now that Jorge is pretty much lost his title, and as far as Rossi should be beating the Hondas to Help Jorge WTF? Jorge needs to beat them first and for a lot of the season he hasn't been-simple. I very much doubt that Rossi would show Jorges title aspirations any respect if a win was on the line.....

One thing which I did notice in parc ferme when Rossi arrived was a 'Stoner esk' disgruntled conversation with his team members present about the bike-seemed quite heated, something which I haven't seen from him for a long while or ever. Obviously he thought from his performances across the weekend that he should have performed much better in the race.

Pedro was very unlucky, he would have won it IMO. Marc does get very close on occasion, goes to show how much these things are being governed by the ECU, ban the fuel limit, ban Bridgestone, ban the engine limit. WTF do these regs prove other than that Honda can outspend the competition......

That might be the case.  There are some, myself included, that have been watching MM from his CEV days.  I don't personally know MM, but have spoken with his dad and they seemed like very down to earth people.  They are from a town close to were I lived.  MM has the same happy speed loving attitude he did 10 years ago.  With success come detractors.

I hope the best for Redding, and I hope he doesn't have the same ........ detractors MM has.  He is on the way to GP and feel he deserves it, but if he doesn't win Moto2, will it be for his passport.....

Willairot incident. A happy speed loving attitude is not invariably good.

MM Da Boy Da Man Da Tinker........ MM win win win

Again, that is old news. I believe he's learned from that. Does your mom still bring up that time you were naughty, or does she believe your grown up?

Delusion of the highest order.

3 times Rossi has beat Jorge this season, first occasion Jorge rode with a broken collar bone, second occasion Rossi managed to stay ahead whilst Jorge was in Hospital and 3rd Jorge wasn't even going to ride until the last minute.

Without Jorges silly crash in Assen Rossi wouldn't have beaten Jorge once this season.

Rossi is not pulling his weight.

Lorenzo opens a big gap in the early stages b/c his crew turn up the wick to get him into open track where he can run the optimal line for the Yamaha. If they burn fuel at the beginning, then Yamaha have to back it off a bit in the later stages. Therefore, Rossi's only job is to turn up the wick, and harrass the Hondas to make sure Lorenzo is not bothered. Unfortunately for Lorezno, Rossi can't even gap Bradl in the early stages.

Marquez, on the other hand, has successfully removed his own teammate from contention.

If this sensor is in such a delicate position how can they pick up a dropped Honda and ride away...? Just asking!

Again, he attempted to justify his role in that incident, including apportioning blame to Willairot, as recently as a few weeks ago, which makes it current and also suggests he didn't learn much from it. The yellow flag/marshall dodging incident was rather recent as well.

I have never disagreed about his talent, which looks to be Rossi-level, although keeping it going as long as Rossi did required more than talent alone. Rossi however managed to be similary audacious whilst keeping his passing manouevres clean, except for a very few incidents in a very long career. if as someone suggested MM chose that point for his move because he had some run-off if he came unstuck it makes the move more calculated and  imo Dani being taken out as a result worse, not that there was much to the incident in isolation.

Michael is was pure bad luck. They hardly brushed each other. The rubbing in moto2 between Redding & Espargaro was far worse.

If the cable didn't break it wouldn't even be worth talking about. He missed his brake point. .... happens.

Am I the only person thinking...... how in the flying fucc does a cable rip apart like that?

It really is unexpected, especially since those crafty asians designed and built it

Maybe Honda would be wise to turn down the wick on Pedro's bike like Ducati have done to keep their #2 rider away from their #1.

It was just bad luck and it could have just as easily been MM with a cut wire

You can see the clear plastic they have around that wire because it does slightly overhang the swingarm.

Front, wire is tucked in much closer

Rear, it doesn't enter the sensor at 90 degrees like the front

Cut
