Says the ....... that supposedly typed incorrectly "more like"
Watching presser and these reporters miss so many chances to ask the right question. Jarvis says he thinks one of the reasons Jorge may have left was he wanted to be number 1 , and at Yamaha, he couldn't get that because they have 2 number 1 and are treated equal. At that point, the reporter had his opening and sat on his hands. The obvious follow up would have been. In the past, before Jorge and even n his first 3years of his tenure at Yamaha, Rossi wAs the number 1 rider and deservedly so, but with Jorge winning Yamaha's last 3 titles, why would you not name him the number 1 rider. Then set back and watch him struggle to answer
Because Rossi is the alpha male. Lorenzo is just a little boy struggling for mommy to say, "good job Jorge."
Considering how strong you are on the Suzuki this year, can you tell us whether Jorge will gel quickly with the Ducati or will his smooth style hurt him?
MAVERICK: WTF?
MOD: Well, that's all the time we have. Thank you everyone.

Yes, you are not the only one having trouble defend anything other than the undisputed number 1 rider at a team, as his own move to Ducati proved, and who has repeatedly said the Nastro Azzurro set up in the first years of his premier class career were his ideal.
He is a 37 year old rider, apparently with reflexes which have been shot since he was 25 by your own account, who has not won any of the last 6 titles, 3 of which were won by Jorge. He can want to be alpha all he likes, but those numbers can't actually be spun, by him or you.
It is Rossi who can't accept anything other than being the undisputed number 1 rider at a team

It was a joke Paps, but also illustrative of what you do.EXACTLY!!! That is the definition of the alpha male!! He needs to be number 1 because he is a true visionary. He may not be the top rider right now, but has finished 2nd in the championship for the past few years. Not too shabby for a 37 year old rider. At 37, he is able to closely match the other top dogs. Maybe not every week, but quite often. He has also used his alpha male status to build an incredibly powerful empire in the GP community.
Oh no no no my friend, I never said his reflexes were shot by age 25. You love to twist my words into whatever form suits your current tirade. I said they have declined over the years.

Uccio agrees, though he calls him "The giver"
Good to see Jorge twisting the throttle for Yamaha, and i am sure he will do right to the end , not to prove a point, just because he has integrity :notworthy:
