Is Wankquez actually earning some admiration from PS haters that are seeing the action live?

Gotta admit, I'm <u>very</u> impressed with his riding.  Two races in on a brand new bike and he's going like hell, without (yet) smearing himself all over the road.  You'd think he's due a Lorenzo Launch or two sometime during the first half of the season, but there's a niggling voice in my head whispering 'Not gonna happen.'  The dude rides with such elan that he generates a certain aura of invincibility.

<u>(EDITED during FP3. Oops!  Please disregard this paragraph! :) ) </u>

Full-on admiration will have to wait.  If he can somehow make it through the season without attempting to murder anyone, I might begin to become a fan.

Watching the dude thrash the Honda really makes me wish Stoner hadn't pulled the eject handle.  The two of them seem to possess similar raw speed, and I'd love to see them going at it in a controlled manner.  (Presuming MM eventually learns the meaning of that particular adjective.)

As a replacement for Stoner, and counterweight to the Return of the <strike>King</strike> Yellow One blockbuster now playing by studio mandate, he's already a success.

MM has won a fan in me. Great stuff from a rookie. Happy, positive, almost Rossiesque with his replay of events. (One of Rossi's greatest strengths is his ability to verbalize a play by play of a race)

Great stuff!

Has anyone ever won the world championship in their rookie season? If anyone could do it, it's Bradley Smith.

King Kenny and mark marquez both won the title in their rookie season

Git!

For the first time Rossi has acknowledged, on the record, that a younger rider could actually be better than him.

That's some endorsement for young Marquez.

What a pity Stoner quit and Sic is gone, just think what a season this could have been (and it is going to be good already).

You are drinking for me so a rum and a beer, find a pretty average chick who likes like she has a couple of bucks and say "you are beautiful".

Nearing the end of the season we'll all be bitching that (fill in the blank) has run away with too high a points lead and why couldn't it go down to the wire?

And (fill in the blank) will be fighting to come back from injury busting his ... to just to be in the top three. Maybe if I type this jinx, I will jinx the jinx. :sweatdrop:

Bradl seems at home in Texas.

Hondas seem at home in Texas, and Bradl is a top rider. Very fast, precise, rock-solid and consistent. Very.... well, German.

Doesn't Bradl have a full factory bike this year? And Bautista for some reason doesn't even though IMO Bautista is a better contender.

MM just high-sided out of turn 2

Looks painful but not too damaging.

Thanks for the animated gif Cara.

Marc Marquez officially in the 2'04's!!!! Eat your heart out Lorenzo.

My MCN Fantasy picks look good for this weekend (Marquez, Bradl). BTW, do we have a Powerslide league going?? If not I'll set it up!

That highside must have hurt, but the dude goes out and instantly chops a third of a second off his prior best.

I'm gonna start calling MM "The Honey Badger."

Go PEDROBOT!!

Lorenzo comfortably the fastest Yam

Rossi - time to double the Geritol dose?

Dovi best Duc

Haystack slow - no doubt still recovering from an unexpected late night encounter with an unknown assailant.  Rumours circulating suggest that Mr. Hayden was accosted in his trailer by drunken, lust-crazed fan wearing a "Free Schwantz" shirt, fancy "69" watch, Jorge Lorenzo Special Edition underwear (possibly stolen), and a Pancho Villa mask.  The assailant reportedly delivered a few brief "Hummingbird-like" thrusts while screeching "NICKEEEEEE!!!!!" before bounding out the door and escaping into the darkness.  The subject remains unidentified and at large.

Smith  WTF?

for what that's worth.
