Don't think he did. I wouldn't worry about it he's got the 'race craft' to make up time on most of the guys on the 2nd and 3rd rows. Plus Cal will make his customary crap start. Good to see Laverty putting the PBM CRT bike further up the grid than expected .
I've just seen how far Espargaro put that CRT up the grid :toot: Now that is impressive!

Great qualifying, Marquez was on fire out there!! Well done to Cal beating Bradl in the final seconds for fourth

Lorenzo was apparently going through the pits to get rid of those trying to tail him, but he miscalculated and could not complete another lap.
Rossi says he doesn't have the stability he needs when braking. Fact is, for one reason or another, as in Qatar FP and Quali seem hard for him.
Marquez is just fantastic. A pleasure to watch, a la Stoner. Going to earn a place in my favorite riders list soon.
Still I would not rule out Pedro tomorrow.
Third spot will be Lorenzo's.
Maybe this smooth track will be kinder to Ducati's tires. Go Dovi!

probably forgot that he didn't do practice starts so he went back out. no new tyre as it wouldn't have changed much anways.
marquez in his own league...damn i hate to admit it but no one comes even close at the moment.
espargaro was great today! only a few thousands behind valentino rossi on a yamaha on his crt bike, that is really something.
can't wait to see how he goes at jerez for example

I think Marquez is rapidly showing that he is the real deal. I find the conspiracy theories of MM technical advantage in Moto2 last year much less plausible than I did. (Not that I fully believed them or anything).

So Geo attempted to do the most pathetic attempt of humor Ive seen since his pathetic jokes in the joke thread. (Ironically the unfunniest guy on this forum who cant take a joke, started the joke thread)
Double Irony that Keshav points out that Pete is replaying his same old joke while he applauds another Jumkie/Hayden stalker joke.

Okay seriously I hope they penalize Carl Abraham for being a complete moron in qualifying. They made it 2 sessions so people don't hit traffic, and he did the same .... in Qatar, he finds someone and tries to stick to their back wheel. This time he caused a crash. Well, since he's not Marquez he probably will be penalized.

Can we steer the discussion back to something interesting? Perhaps everyone's new favourite rider.
Marquez really has it together but the track layout isn't the best for MotoGP bikes, the bikes just look slow on Tv through all the first gear corners. I think Marquez and Pedrosa will just play follow the leader until the last few laps. Lorenzo might just consolidate third.
Espagaro has that Aprilia dialled in for the last sector. Making the most of what he has and looks like he is enjoying it.
Hayden and Spies - the throttle is the one on the right.
Abraham's collarbone is broken. I don't know what he was doing trying to stick it up the inside of Staring when Staring is still trying to work out which lines to use.
