MotoGP 13 Austin: Practice and Qualifying

I just can't Understand Marquez's lean angle ... He hangs off and gets very tight lean angles at the same time... the kid is SICK :D !!!! I wonder if he gets fast corner speeds like the Yamaha's
 
Kind of surprised that times are soooo far off where they tested a few weeks ago. Weather perfect, is it a dirty track?

He is finding out that his extreme lean angles are at times costing him. He said recently that being good on a GP bike is getting the bike back on the fat of the tire so you can accelerate, and the farther he is leaned out, the longer it takes to get it back where it can take power. He will figure it out when it benefits him, and when it just looks cool as .....

Thanks for the information Povol .... How about corner speed?? In my opinion if he is satisfied with the corner speed he gets he doesn't need to get on the fat part of the tire so fast ... But on the other hand I don't know if they can setup the Honda to behave like that since the bike's character is loosely based on Pedrosa's style .. the "pick the bike up fast and focus on the corner exits" style ...... Help me on this. I don't know how much I'm right :D

Track surface is 18°C, difficult to bring heat into the tires. In these conditions you have to take some risks to make a fast lap, and anyway they are way off the pace of the last tests. Afternoon times with a warmer track should be more significant.

marquez reminds me so much of stoner when cornering both hang right off the bike and pull them self to the front while scraping elbows and knees.
