well done Vale.

really thought we'd have to wait til next week but I'm glad I got up at 4am now.

Congratulations Valentino! Six titles ... fantastic achievement! Great ride today.

It's a shame it had to be in Japan. The crowd was as boring as the Beijing Olympics ...

They were going internally berserk

Well done Valentino, game set and match

Casey did well to hang in there

Dani I was hoping Jorge would beat you, it kills me to say it, but well done on you first Bridgestone podium

Lorenzo close and not too bad for a Michilen shod bike

Great Race, great result for Valentino. All he wanted this year was a level playing field so he could take it to Casey. Point made there then.

Great race all round, if this is boring then, hey, bring it on!

Pete

CONGRATS ROSSI....8 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP'S....GOAT.

stoner did what he could, not a bad ride all things concidered

pedro, who ....... cares he's a cnt.

lorenzo.. .... that was close
<
<
i thought his front wheel touched asimo's rear wheel . to bad he didnt get 3rd

suzuki sucks and so does hopper.

you got to laugh, stoner is like foggy used to be, he could write the racers excuse book.
when asked by the bbc interviewer about his qualifing possition casey said his fist quali lap ended up the best because while trying to better that lap a bug hit his visor and for some strange reason he could not get a tear off off and the dead bug was distracting his concentration . by that time he had used up all his allotted tyres

And what the .... was with the guy and the desk? It looked like something out of a Monty Python sketch. Half expected them to say, "And now for something completely different."

VALENTINO ROSSI...STILL THE BEST ONE OUT THERE!!!!
<
<

I missed the first few laps, unfortunately! But I saw the last 18 laps. It was pretty obvious Rossi was gonna overtake Stoner. I already expected him to win, and I'm glad he won the title in style by doing so!

8 titles!!!!!!! Who's the MAN?????
<

Congrats to Vale. He ran a very good race and he beat Ducati at Motegi---not an easy task.

Honda still can't win at their own track.
<
Even after they ditch Michelin, they still don't have anything for Valentino or Stoner/Ducati today.

Lorenzo ran a great race, he nearly caught Pedrosa at the end. I don't know why he didn't get a drive and try to outbrake. He just wedged his tire into the back of Pedro's bike. Nice attack.
<
Great pace though.

Hayden's race was a mixed bag. He did well to recover from a terrible WUP session that saw him 9th fastest, but he really confirmed some of his reputation as a cruisin' caretaker. Lorenzo left him for dead, then he found .5 a lap when Loris started coming from behind. Overall it seemed decent progress for his chance to salvage a top 5. 11 pts on Verme, 2 on Edwards, 4 pts closer to Dovi.

Did anybody see Shinya's record go down in the 250 race.
<
Sad. I really thought that one would make it until the 600s arrive.

Why was Randy Mamola downplaying Rossi's championship? He sounded like the bitter Jumkie here, practicly saying Rossi was handed championships on a silver plattter. Mamola said something about Rossi not being the best rider too. Is Mamola just another hater like Jumkie here, or is he a little bitter at Rossi for what Rossi did this year as far as getting the Bridgestone rubber?

Well Done Rossi!!!!
<
, is so nice to see him winning the championship again after 2 years
<
i was confident after the race at jerez that he got lot of chances on the title it was a nice race congratz Vale!!!

People who love the sport more than they love Rossi have seen this season for what it really is---a marketing campaign centered around the promotion of the sport's favorite rider.

However, there is a lot of credit to be given to the Rossi boppers who never left. The marketing hoax wasn't enacted to bring them back to the sport. They should be allowed to celebrate.

Jealous for what he couldn't accomplish one time?
