Seriously cut my internet time and started living more. Between work, kids, wife and Kung Fu I have very little time for much else. Even sold my dirt bike! Have even missed the last few races as there seems little point in watching when you know 1 of 2 riders will win it and the next 10 finish in order of bike quality. Watching Lorenzo ride bores the absolute .... out of me and Yamaha have turned down Crutchlows bike so he is not even in it anymore either. Rossi should have retired when he lost his bike advantage then everyone wouldn't have known he really was only average so watching him blow someone else's opportunity for a factory bike just frustrates me.

The only bike racing that interests me now is AMA MX/SX. Moto GP sucks.
.

Couldnt agree with you more MA. I feel exactly the same. I find it pretty laughable that people pay to watch practices and qualifying and try to maintain a belief that somehow this week will be different. SX puts on an incredible nonstop show that is way better then GP

Yet you see the same exact guys win week after week in SX, normally by large margins. Its more predictable than GP

Theres no room for error. Its a war of attrition. You go down and your season is done. The greatest riders in the world riding real bikes that dont tell them how to ride. The race for 16 weeks straight while GP riders spend 90% of their time doing publicity for designer jeans and foreign oil companies. Anyone can win on any given week.

I don't know what thread to put this in, but Willksi sent me a pic of his Halloween costume.

The margin for error is much greater in SX/MX than in GP, just as the margin for error in Autocross is much greater than in WRC.

If you are a couple of inches off line in MX, no biggie. A couple of inches off-line in GP and you are on your ass at 150mph.

It's like comparing Americas Cup racing with Unlimited Hydroplane - both GP and UHI are on the absolute ragged edge of control. And while I won't say MX riders aren't, their bikes aren't at the limits of physics.

So it seems JKDs ideal sport is a version of SX where they bounce off leather clad logs?

Spanking off to mankini-clad young Teutons, by the sounds of it... although, living in Miami (yeah, sure... Opa Locka, we get it...) he may have a taste for the sweeter, darker meat.

If you haven't enjoyed the gustatory delights of good Cuban cuisine - don't knock it.

I wonder what RV is like on a road race bike? Like Stoner he attacks the .... out of a race track.

But to answer your question, yes it would still suck. Why? Because there are still only 4 bikes with any potential of winning. I say go all what ever they are calling CRT bikes thes days or go all factory, none of this mix of performance bikes operating under different rules. Just rip the ....... bandaid off and get it done and stop with the long drawn out power play transition.

At least when Stoner was riding there was someone who was anti establishment who said what he meant and meant what he said. I can't buy into these Spanish PR muppets. They maybe fast but they aren't exciting. And no Marquez is not exciting to me, he is dangerous and I don't watch to see people getting hurt.

My mate went to Cuba, said the food was awful.

He was absolutely ....... right-on; the fault is due to the stupid Americano embargo. I was just there in February. But if you get Cuban food in New York or Miami - it's awesome.
