Laguna race thread

Thank you, nor does your opinion

Lower brain function due to insufficient nutrients is not an opinion. It's established medical

My thoughts regarding a forced and unnatural loss of body fat and it's direct correlation

to poorer performances from Hayden and Spies - are educated conjecture, based on established

norms in the medical community. All you have to offer is "I don't think that's true."

In other words," you think its true". Like i said, you would make a hell of an attorney. Turning conjecture into fact is an art form.

So, how does everybody feel about the US debt crisis these days?

WHAT!?! Well that explains why our US riders are malnourished. Please we need your help, for as low as only 5 cents a day you to can help a starving multi-million dollar motorcycle racer put food on his table.

Cherry picking words and torturing them out of context is not an art form. It's the crudest, lowest, most juvenile substitute

for actual debate there is.

My words were "educated conjecture based on on established norms in the medical community." I have maintained from

the beginning that my thoughts were theoretical, tho based on sound medical wisdom.

It is yourself who is "turning" my reasonable theory - into an allegedly professed statement of absolute fact.

You probably think that evolution is merely a crackpot theory; probably have paintings in the livingroom of Adam and Eve

riding around on dinosaurs. Of course that's just a theory.

Dude, no one is questioning that the brain can be malnourished, im saying your full of .... when it came to you saying Spies performance is caused by him being malnourished. You want to know how i know your full of ...., Casey Stoner. He is weight to height smaller than Ben Spies, considerably smaller, and is the fastest ............ on the planet. You want another, Valentino Rossi, he is proportionally smaller than Spies, and another, Jorge Lorenzo is proportionally smaller than Spies. All of these guys are faster than Spies, yet if you use the same theory on them as you do Spies, they should barely be alive, much less kicking his ... all over a race track. There is nothing physically wrong with Spies, he is just being out ridden, get it.I know you have a hard time admitting you have lost a debate, but changing the debate doesnt mean you were not wrong when you initially stated that Ben suffered from stamina issues due to low muscle mass. It was a good diversion, but not good enough.
<

Spies is capable of running up front in a 150 mile pro bicycle race - I seriously doubt that he is running out of steam in a 45 minute GP.

His lap times did not fall off at the end as a tired rider's would. I am not sure where that theory developed (and I've heard it nowhere else) but it makes no sense at all.

Stoner has always been skinny - since day one. He maintains a ratio of fat and muscle that is normal to his physique.

Rossi too has always been skinny. He seems possibly to have lost a little weight since going over to Ducati, but nothing like the drastic

reduction that Hayden and Spies have suffered.

Lorenzo has always been a midget and has never needed to reduce his mass hence he is physically and mentally

at his peak - so is irrelevant to the discussion.

And the key word which you repeatedly use is "proportionally" and that is exactly what this is about. Stoner and Lorenzo

are carrying the normal amount of weight that is proportionally normal to the natural size and frame.

The same cannot be said for Hayden and Spies. They are both too skinny and not carrying their normal body weight.

I never said that gaining back their normal weight would make them win every time - but they would definitely do better

but for the weight to horsepower ratio disadvantage.

Your arguments as usual are intellectually bankrupt. You do nothing but revisit the same subjects I've already disproved. No matter how much you insult me and loudly insist I've lost the debate - it doesn't matter. This is a debate - not a shouting contest. You cannot bully anyone into losing a debate.

And BTW - stop trying to promote the idea that physical and mental stamina were not incontrovertedly interconnected. Any 12th grader knows this. How come you don't?

But seriously the US is looking pretty screwed any way you look at it: US Debt Clock

Spies weighs approximately 6 pounds less than when he won 3 straight AMA championships and the WSBK championship, and he has stated that he lost that weight more for his cycling than for GP. So unless you know otherwise, as in your his mother or doctor, i suggest you drop it. If you have not noticed, more than just me are questioning your theory that Spies suffers stamina issues. It has also not gone unnoticed that you try to change the narrative when things are not going well. Someone said something to the effect of 'nailing jello to the wall ' in repsonse to your flipping around the original debate. You can keep up the diversionary tactic, but in all honesty, it makes you look childish.

This debate has been pretty much between you and I. I could give a .... what anyone else says. You saying I've changed the debate doesn't make it so. You refuse to acknowledge any of the pertinent facts because they are inconvenient to your argument. Others here agree with me - that in itself does not make me right. Veracity is not a question of weight of numbers, but you like most right-wing types always seem to extol the belief that might makes right; a collection of 100 morons will still not be smarter than one intelligent person.

I don't claim to know the exact numbers but Spies has lost way more than 6 pounds. The method of weight loss is immaterial. He looks

skeletal compared to his AMA days - and given that TV cameras add weight visually - I'd say he's lost more in the range of 15 pounds which is a lot to lose for an athlete who was already mean and lean to begin with.

This might be the single stupidest debate I've read in racing forums, and that takes some doing. A person unilaterally decides that an incredibly fit athlete is weak because, uh, he looks thin in photos. That he races bicycles at the pro level, which takes incredible fitness and strength, means nothing because he looks thinner than when he raced AMA.

I guess it's a good thing that you can give a .... what anyone thinks, because frankly it makes you look like a fool.

Exactly, it's pretty ridiculous to suggest someone is unhealthy because they are a world class athlete. Watch any world class sport like athletics or cycling and now even motorsports and you see that the competitors don't carry around extra bulk they don't need.

Really... I love it when twats like you jump in to comment on a debate without actually absorbing the content. It's not about physical prowess. The discussion has to do with lesser brain function when a body is deprived of it's natural compliments of nutrition. Even hillbilly Pov has acknowledged this as an established medical fact. The only reason he continued to debate me by trying (badly) to explain why this medical phenomenon was somehow not applicable to Spies - is that he's constitutionally incapable of admitting he's wrong about anything.

The pics in the Laguna thread show Kesh to be a somewhat scrawny specimen.

Maybe a big Steak and Taters dinner would allow him to see things Pov's way.

Maybe Kesh is suffering from brain malnutrition, or needs to lay off the cheeb, one of the two. Go eat something dude, it will make you think straight.

Yes - but I have always been a skinny guy. My weight is appropriate to my metabolism. I'm not thin because of excessive

dietary regimens. In fact I'm pretty much the same height and weight as Stoner. The snap below was shot three months ago. You should only hope to look this good when you turn 59.

I haven't seen photos of him - but if the reports of those who spotted him at Indy are reasonably accurate

- I won't be doing anything soon that might cause me to resemble Pov. If fact I'd love to see him post a

a current photo of himself. Something tells me he won't; I think it's some kind of Klan regulation.
