But WOW those times are impressive! Kenny And Casey inside Loris' pole from last year. I don't think ANY of us saw that coming.
<
Were they on qualifiers?

Don't read too much into these times, Rossi went a half second quicker than Kenny's time in winter tesing. I don't know how conditions compare but I think there is more from the Camel boys.

It's good to be the King!

too bad he sits on a honda though, I guess they have the correct chasis set up and a good rider.

i think the other web site says his qualifing time was faster than loris' best flying lap last year.
do they start the qualifing lap from a dead stop?
i dont think they have to push the bikes to bump start the motor at the beging of the race any more.

how long is rossi taking to go round the track?

predictions

1 rossi
2 kenny jr
3 loris
4 nakano

Yeah Kenny is under Capirossi's 2005 pole time but is about a hald second slower than Rossi's winter test times so today probably doesn't mean a whole lot. Qualy is an hour session so each lap is a flyer other than in and out laps. The bike are started in the garage and driven out and are running during a race start. I can't remember the last time a race began with bump starts. I have a Dunlop ad hung in my room back home of Kenny Senior's last race and the picture was the start of guys like him and Freddie Spencer running along their bikes. Good stuff.

sumone must know when bump starts went out of fashion late 70,s with kenny and barry they was doing it and they wasnt in the 90,s so pick a year
<
i guess about 89

that`s why my old `81 GSX250`s starter motor never worked. Suzuki mustve been giving their bikes that `gp feel` back then.
