just watched the clip of the last lap ben put on here of the jerez race. you know, the one where rossi comes up on the inside of gibernau and he ends up in the gravel on the last corner. good ol' racing as it should be!!

now does anyone remember the look sete gave him after the race??
<
i swear i thought he was gonna go plant one on him!!

heres hoping we have some fun like that in this years race too!
<

That was my favourite moment last yr!! Good ol' Gibbers being a pussy and just looking at Rossi! lol ......' whack him next time!! wouldnt you if that happend to you on the last corner?? Spanish girl!! lol

If you ask me, it takes more balls to stand there and cop it sweet than to just smack him. A lesser man wouldnt have even had the balls to get on the damn podium.
Rossi's move was crude, unfair and desperate. He was to afraid that Gibernau might actually build up his confidence after the preseason. Gibernau was definately the bigger man in that encounter. It's been said before and I'll say it again: If it wasn't Rossi, they would have crucified him. But everyone loves the Doctor so we'll just bash Gibbers again
<

I still like Rossi, but that incident at Jerez really shows that anybody can be an asshold if the occasion calls for it.
I can't belive you call gibbers a pussy when he's not the spoilt little .... that thinks he can get away with anything and can't be satisfied with a good second place, so he has to take a dirty first.

sete always shows his emotions, sometimes a bit TOO much. I loved it when, I'm not sure but I think it was at valencia, sete crashed AGAIN and he was sitting in the gravel on his knees next to his bike. the spanish marshalls were encouraging the crowd to give sete a big applause
<

Hopefully he, rossi and others can give us more of these moments, hopefully for sete finally emotions of joy when he wins a race

My alltime favourite moment was the race in africa at welcome where rossi won the first race of the season and the first time with his yam

i thought most of the experts said it was hard but fair? my own thoughts was ooooch that was hard but the more u see it the hole was there to b exploited,,, lets not forget this has been coverved time and time again..
like marbs says im always up for a wind up

if there were a hole than sete would'nt have ended up in the gravel. quit makin excuses for a poor ( but highly entertaining ) move on rossi's part. he knew damn well there was no room & he'd lost the race had he not punted sete out of the way. plain n simple. was it a fair move?... well it depends. for rossi obviously. but anybody else?... c'mon...
<
no way no how.

would rossi have bin on the same line as sete if he was leading? no way jose.. anyway u bloody lot have bin moaning about that move now for nearly a year

put ur teddys bak in ur pram and move onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

Punching Rossi in the face would have been fun, but he had injured his shoulder in the crash, plus that would have made him look like Biaggi & Rossi (when they had this little fight in the backstage of the podium). Too much class in Sete to do that.

Yeah, Sete's a refined human being who could see past rearranging Rossi's face. He could see increased shoulder injury, legal problems and getting in more .... with the FIM, who blamed each rider equally for the incident. He's way too smart to just hit Rossi like that.

That's what those guys are paid the big tin for, to be pro and that's what Sete did. Vale pushed things just as much with his smug attitude, which did what it was supposed to, rev Sete up even more. The ontrack move was fair game IMO. Just the first in a long list of woes for Gibernau.

Ere we go again eh!!
