hayden is the only frontline rider who hasn't dropped it or hurt himself now that dani has.wish him luck!!!just wish he could one or two at the end if he does become champ.

All Nicky needs is another podium or bad race for Valentino and its all but decided. Nicky's been the most consistent rider this season, more than can be said for Valentino.
Actually he need both. Hayden need to put himself in second on every race if Rossi win them all. Rossi winning the rest is a hard call but for Nicky to get second in all of them is even less likely.
My guess is that nither is going to happen, Rossi won't win them all but the question is what Hayden can do. With almost everyone there he seems to struggle to get above 4th and that's not good enough. Consistency isn't worth much if you loose 12 points or more every race you consistently end up 4th or worse.
Right now it's just as interesting to see what happens with Pedrosa. If he can't make top 10 this round he might be out of the fight and possibly disadvantaged next weekend too. That will mostly work to Haydens advantage as there is one guy less that regulary beats him.
Rainey finished 3rd in the last race and Doohan 6th. So Rainey got 6 more points than Mick (16 - 10), therefore prior to the race (suposing the points system was the same) Mick lead Waine by 2 points, so basically the one that ended up ahead of the other in the last race won the championship.
Current point system started in 1993. In 1992 they used 20-15-12-10-8-6-4-3-2-1 for top 10.

I don't and I will: Rossi.

teo i would'nt say it's down to these 2 only. melandri, pedrosa & cappers all still in it. melandri & pedrosa only 32 points adrift. cappers has it a bit tougher at 45.
So, what are the chances of the championship ending up with two leaders on the same points?....anyone care towork it out hehe and if that does happen, will it go to rider with the most wins?

yup, rule states when a score is the same, advantage goes to the ryder with the most wins.
Has a 500cc/MotoGP championship ever been won on a countback? The only time I`ve seen a championship won like that was the Domestic Aussie Superbikes last year, it`s nail biting stuff, everybody pulls out result papers and calculators.
